The St. Louis Cardinals minor league system had its share of highlights throughout the last week from the return of a highly touted pitching prospect to the promotion of a high-performing outfielder.

Here are some the Cardinals' best minor leaguers from last week along with a few players to keep an eye on:
Michael McGreevy, Memphis Redbirds (Triple-A)
Mcgreevy turned in a quality start for the Redbirds this week for his sixth consecutive win, finishing with nine strikeouts - a season high - and just one run allowed in six innings pitched. The team's No. 10 prospect is carrying a record of 6-1 with 54 strikeouts through 10 Triple-A starts, tying him for most wins of any Triple-A pitcher.

Tekoah Roby, Springfield Cardinals (Double-A)
Roby sat down eight batters via strikeout in 5 1/3 innings pitched on Thursday, walking one batter and allowing just four hits to hold the Northwest Arkansas Naturals (KC) scoreless. The Cardinals' No. 11 prospect has been solid on the mound as of late, striking out 14 and allowing just two runs over his last 11 1/3 innings pitched.

Braden Davis, Palm Beach Cardinals (High-A)
Currently unranked in the organization's top 30 prospects, Davis has been on fire over his last three starts for Palm Beach. The 22-year-old southpaw has sat down 16 batters on strikeouts and allowed just three hits over his last 16 innings pitched. He is holding opposing hitters to just .063 in that span.
Players to keep an eye on:
Quinn Mathews, Memphis Redbirds (Triple-A)
Mathews made his return to the Redbirds on Saturday after a month-plus absence from injury. The No. 2 prospect made it just 2 2/3 innings while allowing two runs on five hits and three walks. He has yet to find his footing at the Triple-A level, currently carrying a 6.23 ERA across four starts this year.

Joshua Baez, Springfield Cardinals (Double-A)
Baez was promoted to Double-A after his hot start with Palm Beach. He hit .368 with two doubles and two stolen bases in his first week with Springfield. The 21-year-old outfielder is hitting .323 in 43 minor league games this year.
