MORGANTOWN, (WBOY) — The Morgantown Public Library hopped into spring with its annual indoor Easter egg hunt Sunday afternoon. Children aged two to ten were invited to join in the celebration, where a series of age-appropriate egg hunts were organized to ensure that every child could participate in finding hidden treasures throughout the library. Morgantown Public Library Employee Cathy Mcmaster was happy to see kids come out and participate. 'It's a really great time,' Mcmaster said. 'We have all kinds of fun activity stations. We also have a live bunny for the kids to pet, and we have a delicious Eat N Park cookie for them.' Annual Peep Festival held at FSU in honor of Fairmont native Library staff told 12 News that a new selection of spring books and movies are now available for checkout with a valid library card. Morgantown Public Library Youth Services Specialist Jenean Skousen is excited about the new additions. 'As the weather warms up and that sort of thing, they can get out and do stuff, and so we want them to come to the library and check out books and participate in our programs and that sort of thing,' Skousen said.
