The Pablo Torre-Bill Simmons 'feud' has reached its inevitable podcast
Pablo Torre has a few questions for Bill Simmons and it appears he's headed over to The Ringer's podcast studios to get some answers. After Torre and Simmons traded barbs over the former's Bill Belichick-Jordon Hudson reporting, the Pablo Torre Finds Out host is reportedly going to sit down with Simmons on The Bill Simmons Podcast to clear the air — or dirty it up some more. According to Meadowlark Media's Dan Le Batard at the start of his Tuesday show, "Pablo Torre will be appearing on Bill Simmons' podcast here." And considering PTFO is a Meadowlark Media production, the sourcing seems pretty solid. The fact that Torre is going on Simmons' show, instead of the other way around, is a bit notable. It was Simmons who fired off criticism of Torre's reporting on Belichick during a recent episode of The Ringer's The Rewatchables. When word got back around to PTFO, Torre made it known he had a few questions for Simmons about the Hudson-Belichick drama and invited The Ringer founder over to PTFO for a chat. It's hard to know what to expect here, or if Simmons will return the favor by going on Torre's show, but it is undoubtedly good the two will at least have a chance to clear the air — and it's even better for fans of both who get a chance to hear the discussion. Hopefully the episode is dropping soon.

Watch: Pablo Torre visited house of that viral shirtless Bill Belichick video
Watch: Pablo Torre visited house of that viral shirtless Bill Belichick video The weirdest thing you've seen all week still won't prepare you for sports podcaster and former ESPN personality Pablo Torre's Bill Belichick segment during the latest episode of "Pablo Torre Finds Out". Torre, who is currently partnered with Meadowlark Media, has been reporting on all of the drama surrounding Belichick and his 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson. He even went as far as visiting the same Airbnb the couple stayed at in Winthrop, Massachusetts. It was the site of the viral Ring camera footage of a shirtless Belichick leaving a house that was initially believed to have belonged to Hudson. However, Torre did investigative work and found out the property was an Airbnb. He then took things a step further by renting the property, buying a Ring cam and retracing Belichick's steps. Some found the content to be funny, while others called it "creepy" and over the top. Was Torre's video creepy or too over the top? Was it a good old-fashioned satirical spin on investigative journalism? Or, was it simply a fun video solely for comedic purposes? You be the judge. Follow Patriots Wire on Twitter and Facebook.

Major news on the future of the Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz, Meadowlark Media & DraftKings
In major news for the Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz and its fans, Meadowlark Media and DraftKings have agreed in principle to an extended contract, the Miami Herald has learned. The deal is expected to be for three years. The previous contract was worth $50 million. Expectations are that the new deal will be officially announced as soon as next week. The flagship Le Batard Show, South Beach Sessions and Nothing Personal with David Samson are among Meadowlark benchmarks of emphasis in the new agreement, which was first reported by Front Office Sports. Closing the deal had its recent pitfalls with reports that top executive John Skipper had left Meadowlark and that popular sidekick Stugotz would have a slightly lesser role on the main show. A source tells us the deal Stugotz signed will allow him the freedom to appear a bit less on the main show in order to grow his own affiliated shows, God Bless Football and Stupodity. The Miami-based Le Batard Show is the biggest, most popular property for Meadowlark, regularly ranking in the top five among national sports-related podcasts. Le Batard ended his long relationship with ESPN in January 2021 to go independent in what was said to be by 'mutual agreement.' Le Batard and Skipper, a former ESPN president, launched Meadowlark Media soon after.

UNC denies Bill Belichick's girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, is banned
The denial comes on the heels of the latest episode of "Pablo Torre Finds Out," a national podcast from Meadowlark Media featuring former ESPN host Pablo Torre. The show focused on Belichick and Hudson and Torre cited two North Carolina athletic department sources when he reported Hudson was no longer allowed in the football building or on the team's practice field. Torre also reported, citing one Belichick family source, there is "deep worry about how detrimental Hudson can be" for Belichick's reputation. CHARLES BARKLEY: 'Concerned' about Bill Belichick, Jordon Hudson after interview The six-time Super Bowl-winning coach already had to issue a statement earlier this month in the aftermath of a "CBS Sunday Morning" interview that went awry due to Hudson's involvement. The eight-minute CBS segment that originally aired on April 27 included a tense moment in which Hudson shut down a question asked to Belichick by reporter Tony Dokoupil about how he and Hudson had met. Hudson also stopped Dokoupil's line of questioning several other times, according to CBS. She later posted a screenshot of emails sent by Belichick following the interview (accompanied by Taylor Swift's "Look what you made me do") in which he criticized how CBS edited the segment and the direction being taken in the promotion of his new book. Belichick emphasized Hudson only became involved once Dokoupil ignored Belichick's repeated requests to keep the conversation centered on the new book. "After this occurred several times, Jordon, with whom I share both a personal and professional relationship, stepped in to reiterate that point to help refocus the discussion," Belichick said in his statement. "She was not deflecting any specific question or topic but simply doing her job to ensure the interview stayed on track. Some of the clips make it appear as though we were avoiding the question of how we met ... "The final eight-minute segment does not reflect the productive 35-minute conversation we had, which covered a wide range of topics related to my career," Belichick continued. "Instead, it presents selectively edited clips and stills from just a few minutes of his interview to suggest a false narrative - that Jordon was attempting to control the conversation - which is simply not true." CBS pushed back in its own statement about Belichick's claim that he agreed to the interview under the auspices that questions would be focused only on his book. "When we agreed to speak with Mr. Belichick, it was for a wide-ranging interview," a CBS News spokesperson said. "There were no preconditions or limitations to this conversation." Belichick is the oldest active coach in FBS college football at 73 years old entering his first season at North Carolina. The Tar Heels open their 2025 schedule on Monday, Sept. 1 at 7:30 p.m. ET at Kenan Stadium against the Big 12's TCU.
