Blue Bloods' Henry Reagan star looks unrecognisable in role now played by...
Len Cariou is nowadays best known for playing Henry Reagan in Blue Bloods, but he had a long and varied career years before the CBS police procedural. Henry Reagan from Blue Bloods, played by actor Len Cariou, looks completely different in a popular 1980s film that has recently been remade for Netflix. In recent times, Cariou is most known for his role as retired New York police commissioner and father to Frank Reagan (portrayed by Tom Selleck), Henry Reagan. However, before the CBS drama aired, Cariou had a diverse career, featuring in When They See Us, About Schmidt, Lady in White, Murder She Wrote, Brotherhood and Law and Order. One of his most significant roles was in 1981 when he starred in the romantic-comedy The Four Seasons, which centres on a group of married friends. The film has been transformed into a Netflix series by Mean Girls' Tina Fey, along with Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield, with all eight episodes released earlier this month. In the original The Four Seasons, Cariou plays Nick Callen, whose midlife crisis acts as a catalyst for the rest of the friendship group to reassess their own relationships. Now aged 85, the Blue Bloods star was in his mid-40s when he featured in the rom-com, sporting dark to greying hair and a leaner physique. In the 2025 Netflix adaptation, Cariou's character Nick is portrayed by actor and comedian Steve Carell. He is best recognised for his role as Michael Scott in The Office US, but has also appeared in Crazy Stupid Love, The 40-Year-Old Virgin and provided the voice for Gru in the Despicable Me franchise. Steve Carell teams up with actress and creator of The Four Seasons, Tina Fey, who steps into the role of Kate Burroughs, a part originally played by the iconic Carol Burnett from Annie and Better Call Saul fame. Joining them is Saturday Night Live alumni Will Forte as Jack Burroughs, taking over the baton from MASH superstar Alan Alda, along with Coleman Domingo from Fear The Walking Dead, filling the shoes of Danny Zimmer, a role once held by The Ritz's Jack Weston. Despite no new projects listed on Len Cariou's IMDb page as Blue Bloods winds down, co-star Abigail Hawk hinted at his continued zest for work in an interview with Us Weekly: "He's 85 years young. "One of the coolest things about our show, aside from like the family dinners and aside from [the fact that] obviously these people are beloved, is that we show that age is really just a number."

What REALLY happened at Brooklyn Beckham's wedding to Nicola after explosive claim Posh stole 1st dance & made bride cry
ACCORDING to tradition, a bride's wedding day is all about the bride. Not so for 7 Brooklyn Beckham with wife Nicola Peltz Credit: Getty 7 Victoria enters the reception with David after the wedding Credit: Mega 7 Brooklyn and Nicola celebrate their first anniversary in 2023 with David and Victoria 7 Nicola and Brooklyn at their wedding Credit: German Larkin / Vogue In yet another astonishing new twist to the The latest chapter in the story centres on US singer Marc Anthony, who is reported to have sung to Victoria at the reception, rather than the bride, and added insult to injury by calling Posh 'the most beautiful woman in the room'. Friends of Only one thing is for certain, then: the divide between the two families has never been wider. Read More on Showbiz Last night a source who has worked with both Brooklyn and the Beckhams said: 'This whole situation is quite unprecedented, and no-one could have foretold things would get this bad, or this toxic — for toxic is what it is. 'While Nicola and Brooklyn's pals claim one thing, David and Victoria's say quite another — so somewhere along the line, someone is obfuscating. 'Or perhaps another more palatable explanation is, as David's hero the late Queen might say, recollections may vary. 'Unquestionably that wedding day — and the six-month build-up — was the tipping point for all that has followed. Most read in Celebrity Mean Girls vibes 'So from Nicola's perspective, it's no wonder she keeps bringing it up — what was meant to be the most special day of her life has been overtaken by events beyond her control. 'Her friends won't let that go and get very defensive of her. Beckhams fear there's no way back with Brooklyn after his latest move in bitter feud 'drove dagger through their hearts' 'For her part, Victoria, as a woman's woman, insists she would never deliberately derail her son's big day. 'It is all very sad, and right now I cannot see things ever being the way they were between Brooklyn and his parents.' The second — and perhaps irreversible — tipping point came earlier this month, in what was a week of celebrations for David's 50th birthday. His eldest son attended none of them. Nor, obviously, did his 30-year-old wife, who Puzzlingly, the two families' versions of events differ wildly. While Nicola and Brooklyn's pals claim one thing, David and Victoria's say quite another – so somewhere along the line, someone is obfuscating And while he claims the row started over brother Romeo's girlfriend of six months — who previously dated Brooklyn — the Beckhams claim Nicola is the true catalyst. She has been said to give off 'Mean Girls' vibes — a reference to the cult 2004 film — with the implication that she is 'spoilt' and 'entitled', and has dragged Brooklyn away from his family. Nicola, for her part, says she is simply supporting her husband, but is being portrayed 'cruelly'. 'Naturally it's always the woman who gets the blame,' laments one friend Stateside. How deeply unseemly this he-said/she-said battle must be for David, who recently graced the cover of Time magazine for his charitable endeavours. Certainly it is not on brand for the Beckhams, a couple who have steadfastly cemented themselves — the royals notwithstanding — as Britain's most famous family. 7 Singer Marc Anthony and wife Nadia Ferreira at the wedding in April 2022, where he is said to have sung to Victoria instead of the bride Credit: Eroteme 7 A source claimed a room full of guests saw Nicola run off in tears after seeing Victoria awkwardly dancing with Brooklyn Credit: German Larkin / Vogue In fact that is something they have done so well — thanks to endless endorsement deals, Becks's And I wouldn't bet against them being billionaires by the time the former England midfielder is 55. (Although it might pain them to note, this is still less than half of Nicola's tycoon dad Nelson's estimated personal fortune). 'Brand', though, is a negative term for Her camp has briefed US periodicals suggesting that Posh 'n' Becks are more concerned with keeping up appearances — and maintaining the family brand — than making things up with their boy. They have labelled the Beckhams' attempts to reach out to Brooklyn — posting Instagram stories tagging him — as 'performative'. Showbiz website TMZ quoted 'sources familiar with the situation' as saying the young couple 'have made themselves available for months and months to discuss all of the ongoing drama', but that David and Victoria refuse to talk with Nicola around 'because she always talks back to them and stands up for Brooklyn'. The Transformers actress believes she has always supported the Beckhams by attending Victoria's fashion shows and promoting her products on social media — but doesn't get the same treatment in return. 7 Brooklyn and Nicola, seen in silhouette having their first kiss as a married couple Credit: Mega For instance, the website claims, Nicola asked Victoria to promote her dog rescue centre, Yogi's House, during the LA wildfires in January, but Victoria apparently blamed her social media co-ordinator, saying: 'She's not posting content right now.' Yet pals of the Beckhams would likely argue that only last February Victoria flew to LA to support Nicola on the red carpet of her movie, Lola — even dressing her in a bespoke VB outfit. Of course, that £1,190 co-ord outfit came back to haunt Nicola last month when Victoria appeared to goad her daughter-in-law, wearing the exact same thing — sparking a 'who wore it better' debate on social media. So what is the truth? Well, performative or not, all four protagonists still follow one another on Instagram. But hey, that's showbiz! And now the wedding has been wheeled out again, with those reports alleging Nicola cried on her wedding day. The source told People magazine: 'Marc Anthony, who is a friend of the Beckhams, offered to perform as a gift at the wedding. 'Before the song began, Marc asked Brooklyn to come to the stage, and then announced, 'The most beautiful woman in the room tonight, come on up . . . Victoria Beckham!'' It was such a jaw-dropping moment that it left the whole room in absolute shock. You could hear a pin drop Source A second source said the entire room went silent after Victoria's name was called instead of the bride's, and added: 'It was such a jaw-dropping moment that it left the whole room in absolute shock. You could hear a pin drop.' After seeing Victoria awkwardly dancing with his mother, Nicola is said to have burst into tears. Nonsense, sigh Victoria's pals. They claim the couple danced to Elvis after marrying — long before Victoria danced with Brooklyn. One says: 'At the reception there were the traditional speeches, then the happy couple had their first dance. In fact they had two dances. 'After this, Nicola had a dance with her father Nelson, again entirely traditional for the bride to dance with Dad, and at this point normally the groom would dance with his mum. "For whatever reason, that didn't happen. Much later, as a gift to the couple, Marc Anthony performed a few songs. 'Everyone got up to dance and as part of this he pulled his best friends David and Victoria up on stage, and then grabbed Brooklyn to dance with his mum, and Harper danced with David. 'Cruz also got up with Eva Longoria — it was a fun family moment and one dance. No-one realised in the moment that Nicola was upset.' Whatever the truth — and tellingly the Beckhams didn't wish Nicola and Brooklyn a happy anniversary last month, either privately or publicly — the quartet won't be playing happy families any time soon.

Lindsay Lohan opens up about motherhood and ‘feeling safe' in Dubai after escaping LA
After nearly 30 years in the spotlight, Lindsay Lohan took a step back from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood and uprooted her life from Los Angeles to Dubai in 2014. Since then, the 'Mean Girls' actress, 38, has not only become a wife and a mother, she has found peace within herself. Advertisement Lohan, who appears on the cover of Elle's 2025 Summer Issue , opened up about her life overseas and what she's learned about herself, both personally and professionally, since making the move. 'It's hard in L.A. Even taking my son to the park in L.A., I get stressed. I'm like, 'Are there cameras?' In New York, there's no worry; no one bothers us,' said Lohan, who shares 1-year-old son Luai with husband Bader Shammas. 'Everyone has their own thing going on. There's a different kind of energy in New York. I'd rather have downtime in New York than I would in L.A.' 'But the nice thing about L.A. is, I like space [and you get that here]. But I'm thinking as I'm saying this, the funny thing is, in Dubai I get all of those things. I get the privacy, I get the peace, I get the space. I don't have to worry there. I feel safe.' Lohan, who began working at age 3 and gained stardom with her first movie role in the 1998 remake of 'The Parent Trap,' was thrown into the thick of Hollywood. 'I feel like some of [my work] got overshadowed by paparazzi and all that kind of stuff when I was younger, and that's kind of annoying. I wish that part didn't happen,' Lindsay told Bustle in 2024. 'I feel like that kind of took on a life of its own. So that's why I wanted to disappear. I was like, 'Unless there's no story here, they're not going to focus on just my work.'' 'I was like, 'Unless there's no story here, they're not going to focus on just my work.'' Xavier Collin/Image Press Agency/MEGA In 2022, Lohan spoke about how she was taking control of her own narrative through social media. 'When I first started out in the business, none of us had a say in how to control our own narrative,' she told Cosmopolitan. 'There were paparazzi pictures, and then people ran with it. So I think it's really good that, in this day and age, people can say who they are and who they want to be. And I admire and appreciate that. I'm a little jealous because I didn't have that. But I think it moves really fast, and I just try to keep up as best I can. And I check everything before I post it. I'll send it to people, because you have to.' 'You have to take everything people say with a grain of salt and just be you and slow down because everyone's so quick right now,' she said. 'People just don't stop. You've got to chill.' Advertisement 5 Lindsay Lohan and husband Bader Shammas attend the Vanity Fair Oscars party after the 97th Academy Awards in Beverly Hills on March 2. REUTERS After moving to Dubai, Lohan quickly learned the power of saying 'no' when it comes to picking and choosing professional projects. 'They teach you to say 'yes' to everything, and that's not really what life's all about,' she told Bustle of her earlier years in the industry. 'I was like, 'What if I never fall in love? What if this never happens?' And it took me just taking time for me for all those doors to open and the 'yeses' to come, the things I wanted to say 'yes' to.' Since her return to the big screen, Lohan, who stars alongside Jamie Lee Curtis in 'Freakier Friday,' said she's found that prioritizing herself makes a huge difference in her overall well-being. '[Jamie and I] are both very family-oriented people. We always talk about that, and one of the other big things [she's taught me] is to always take care of yourself first,' she told Elle. 'Because without that, how can you do everything for everyone else?' 5 Lohan starred alongside Jamie Lee Curtis in 'Freaky Friday' and the upcoming sequel, 'Freakier Friday.' Chris Pizzello/Invision/AP 'I love having a routine, and I like schedules,' she continued. 'So, my morning routine: waking up, writing in my journal, sipping my green tea, breakfast with my son, and then Pilates, making sure I go.' Despite her hectic schedule, Lohan said the 'most important thing' in her life is family. Advertisement 'I mean, it's the most important thing: my husband, my son and me. It's all about balance and, as I said, routine. Especially when you have a kid, routine is the most important thing. And whatever their routine is, I've got to live by that.' Lohan is no stranger to criticism. With fame comes speculative curiosity, especially when it comes to her appearance. 5 'I love having a routine, and I like schedules,' Lohan said. The star shared the secrets behind the skincare routine that she says has dramatically altered her look. 'Everyone does Botox,' Lohan said. 'I drink this juice every morning. It's like carrot, ginger, lemon, olive oil, apple. I also drink a lot of green tea, a lot of water. I'm a big pickled beets person, so I put them in almost everything. My skincare is very specific. I'm trying out some serums now that I'm doing. I'm testing them.' 'Also, I'm a big believer in ice-cold water on your face when you wake up,' the 38-year-old said. 'I drink lemon juice a lot. I also put tons of chia seeds in my water. Eye patches I do every morning. I'm into lasers.' Advertisement 'I did Morpheus8 (a noninvasive radiofrequency microneedling treatment) once, and then I realized my skin is so thin that I can't be doing that,' Lohan said. 'My skin changed after having my son. It got really sensitive. That's what really made me change my whole routine and diet and everything. I did blood tests, and I was like, 'I want to know everything I'm allergic to.' So I cut everything out, and that's kind of when everything started to change for me.'

Lindsay Lohan has adopted a 'more condensed' sense of style nowadays
Lindsay Lohan has adopted a "more condensed" sense of style. The 38-year-old actress used to feel the pressure to keep things "changing" as a teen star in Hollywood during the early 2000s but has now decided to be "more specific" about the kind of clothes she actually "needs" to wear on a daily basis. She told UsWeekly: "I think it's become more condensed. 'I would say I'm more specific about what I need in my everyday life. I always need good pairs of leggings or jeans that I love, Whereas I used to think you need to have everything changing so fast in fashion." The 'Mean Girls' star is mother to 22-month-old Luai with her husband Bader Shammas and explained that she has become "more modest" with her outfits for her public appearances since she welcomed her son and is a little bit shocked at some of her choices back in the day. She said: "I've become a bit more modest, even on red carpets. I just like to be a little bit more buttoned up than I used to be. "When I see [those low-rise jeans] now, I'm like, 'whoa, those are actually borderline too low!" The 'Freakier Friday' actress recently admitted that she is "not as comfortable" with cetain fashion choices, but it all depends on what situation she is in at any given time. She told ELLE: ""I've always been comfort-focused. If I'm not comfortable in it, I'm not going to put it on. That's always been a big thing for me. "With time, maybe I've become a bit more modest. I'm not as comfortable risking certain things. But it depends. If it's a nice dinner date with my husband, I want to feel sexy and look nice. And then my daywear is more casual, usually. But when I'm in New York, I like to dress because I'm in New York."

Renee Rapp reveals how her mom chose her 'pop star name'
Renee Rapp's mom gave her daughter a "pop star name". The 25-year-old singer has revealed that her mom Denise made a conscious decision to include some alliteration in Renee's name, because she thought it could influence her long-term future. Speaking to Amy Poehler on the 'Good Hang' podcast, Renee explained: "My mom chose my first and last name to be, well, okay, arguably chose my first and last name to both have [two letter R's]. She was like, 'Alliteration, just in case she wants to be a pop star' before I was born." Renee is now thankful that her mom was so considered in her decision-making. The blonde beauty - who starred in the 2024 'Mean Girls' movie - said: "I'm like, 'Thank you, God.'" Amy then replied: "She gave you a pop star name just in case, because Renee Rapp is a huge pop star name." Renee's dad, Charles, previously admitted to being very hard on his daughter during her younger years. Speaking to the Los Angeles Times newspaper in 2023, he explained: "I'm very competitive, and I think Denise is competitive. "Growing up, we would tell Reneé if [her voice] didn't sound good. I used to tell her, 'OK, that was fantastic, Reneé, but what could you have done differently? How could you have done it better?'" Meanwhile, Renee has admitted to being "very sensitive" and "protective" of herself. The actress - who previously played Regina George in the Broadway musical 'Mean Girls' - told InStyle: "My biggest fear is being misunderstood. I'm a very passionate person. I'm very sensitive. I am protective." Renee believes people often mistake her sensitive nature for her "just being a b****". The movie star also admitted that she had a "very difficult" time during her younger years. Renee - who released her debut EP, 'Everything to Everyone', back in 2023 - said: "I think that sometimes people can construe that as me just being a b****. I just have very big emotions and I feel very hard. It was really hard to live like that when I was a kid. It was very difficult. Living was exhausting."
