Shams concludes its summer program's second edition

The summer program included a variety of enjoyable activities tailored to capture the children's interests. It featured topics like theater and acting, helping kids build their confidence and public speaking abilities. There were also sessions on podcast creation, where participants learned about digital media, and a "Little Influencer" workshop that taught them how to create content and promote positive messages on social media. In addition, kids participated in art classes, including drawing and Arabic calligraphy, as well as stop-motion photography. The program also included workshops focused on artificial intelligence, arts and crafts, and recycling to help raise awareness about sustainability and caring for the environment. To ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, Shams had a medical team on-site and organized entry and exit with the help of volunteers. Qualified trainers, experienced in working with children, also facilitated the activities. The venue was equipped with essential tools like cameras and microphones, a mini theater, and supplies for various projects, along with exciting gifts for the participants. Parents appreciated the well-rounded experience provided for their children, highlighting both the educational and fun aspects of the program. Adnan Al Mansouri, the Director of Media Talent Development at Sharjah Media City, expressed pride in the program, stating that this year they managed to deliver a diverse and enriching experience that combined learning with entertainment. He emphasized their commitment to continue improving and expanding future summer programs to meet the evolving interests of children and their families, while also nurturing emerging media talent. The program concluded with a festive ceremony honoring all the participants, celebrating its success in achieving its educational goals. Shams is dedicated to organizing even more innovative and expansive editions in the future, keeping up with the aspirations of younger generations and the changes happening in the media world.
