In just 2 days, 2 winning lottery tickets bought at Carroll County store
CLIVE, Iowa (KCAU) — Two winning lottery tickets were bought at the same Carroll County store two days apart. According to a release from the Iowa Lottery, within two days of each other, both tickets were bought at the Casey's in Manning, Iowa. Winning Lucky for Life ticket purchased in Denison The first ticket, purchased by Xenia Valladares of Deloit, was a '$100,000 Mega Crossword' scratch ticket that was purchased on Monday. A day later, Judy Ambrose of Dunlap claimed a $25,000 prize from the 'Mega Bucks' scratch ticket. Food service worker wins 25 prizes on single lottery ticket. ‘My heart started to drop'
A Maryland woman won 25 prizes on a single scratch-off ticket, lottery officials said. The food service worker from Anne Arundel County won the second-largest prize in the $10 'Mega Bucks' game, according to a Feb. 27 news release from the Maryland Lottery. On her first reveal, she matched a winning number for a $25 prize, lottery officials said. Her second number revealed a match with a $1,000 prize, according to the release. As she continued to scratch away more of the ticket, the woman won four $10,000 prizes, nine $1,000 prizes and multiple prizes worth $25, $100 and $200, lottery officials said. 'I was so excited,' the woman told lottery officials. 'My heart started to drop.' Her winnings totaled $50,000, officials said. 'The first thing I did was call my family,' the winner said in the release, telling lottery officials she plans to spend her prize on them. The winning ticket was purchased at the Herald Harbor Inn & Mini Mart in Crownsville, according to lottery officials. Lottery officials said three of the game's 10 tickets with $50,000 prizes have been claimed. 'Six of the nine top prizes of $100,000 are awaiting discovery, along with other prizes ranging from $10 to $10,000,' officials said. Crownsville is about a 10-mile drive northwest from Annapolis.
