Israeli drone carrying grenade crashes in Meiss El Jabal, says Lebanese Army
The Lebanese Army announced that an Israeli drone carrying a hand grenade crashed in the outskirts of Meiss El Jabal in the Marjaayoun district on Saturday, amid ongoing Israeli violations of Lebanese sovereignty. In a statement, the Army Command – Directorate of Orientation said the incident occurred on July 26, 2025, and was part of Israel's continued acts of aggression. An army patrol secured the area, detonated the grenade, and transferred the drone to a specialised unit for inspection and further action.

Israeli violations escalate in South Lebanon with incursion into Meiss El Jabal
Israeli violations in southern Lebanon continued on Friday, as an Israeli force advanced at dawn into residential neighborhoods of Meiss El Jabal, reaching the western district near the local water reservoir. The troops detonated two large excavators belonging to the Council for South Lebanon that were working to remove rubble from the destroyed western neighborhoods. Israeli soldiers also patrolled the town's streets on ATVs.

Israeli forces blow up two homes in South Lebanon, seize bulldozer: NNA
According to the National News Agency, Israeli forces blew up two houses at dawn on Friday in the southern Lebanese towns of Houla and Meiss El Jabal after advancing into Lebanese territory. The forces then seized a bulldozer from one of the homes in Meiss El Jabal and transported it across the border into Israeli-occupied territory.

Lebanese army removes Israeli barriers, reopens roads in southern Lebanon

Lebanese Army fills Israeli-dug trench in South Lebanon's Meiss El Jabal in coordination with UNIFIL
The Lebanese Army announced Thursday that it had filled a trench approximately 200 meters long that had been dug overnight by Israeli forces in the outskirts of the southern town of Meiss El Jabal, located in the Marjayoun district. According to a statement from the Army Command, the operation was carried out on June 5, 2025, by a unit of the Lebanese Army in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). The army affirmed that it continues to monitor the situation in South Lebanon closely and is actively working with UNIFIL to address and eliminate Israeli violations along the border.
