Elevated brunch, West Texas roots: Brunch and Munch curates class in Odessa

ODESSA, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- For this week's Basin Bites, we visited Brunch and Munch Eatery and Creperie, an Odessa gem that's just as much about the atmosphere as it is about the food. Known for its vibrant vibes and delicious dishes, Brunch and Munch has been serving the community for more than five years. Owners Dustin and Melissa Burns, both Odessa natives, opened the eatery after living in Dallas. While in the Metroplex, they fell in love with the city's brunch culture, an experience they felt was missing back home. 'When we moved back, we wanted to bring something a little bit different,' said Dustin Burns. 'There wasn't really anything like this here when we first opened. We just wanted to create a space where people could come hang out, bring their friends or family, and have a good time.' Brunch and Munch Eatery and Creperie is located at 818 N County Rd W, Odessa, TX 79763. They're open Wednesday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc.
