In an Instagram Story on Thursday (Aug 14), Anna – whose real name is Anna Ellisa Gustin – extended her blessing to her mother Ariz Arop, praying that Allah would always protect her. 'Thank you for the beautiful birthday wishes. I've read every single one, and each is deeply meaningful to me. 'Thank you to my mum for giving birth to me and raising me. I'll always pray for Allah to bless and protect you,' she wrote. The Melur Untuk Firdaus star also conveyed her appreciation to those who have stood by her and supported her every step of the way. 'I'm truly grateful to be surrounded by such amazing people. Please keep me in your prayers as I step into this new phase,' she wrote. That same day, Ariz also extended her wishes to her daughter. She uploaded two throwback photos of herself cradling a baby Anna, with the captions: 'Happy birthday, child' and 'Happy bornday.' 'Thank you to my mum for giving birth to me and raising me. I'll always pray for Allah to bless and protect you,' Anna Jobling says on her social media. The mother-daughter dispute surfaced earlier this week, after Ariz disclosed that Anna had filed an injunction order against her in December 2024. However, the order was lifted following discussions between lawyers from both sides, though she remains bound by several other conditions. In an Instagram Story, Ariz accused Anna of treating her "like a stray dog" since rising to fame, despite sacrificing her wealth and energy to provide for her daughter. She further alleged that a simple argument between them escalated to the point where Anna insulted her and called a lawyer to have her removed from the car.

Through a post on Instagram Story, the Melur Untuk Firdaus star also uploaded a photo of both of them during her childhood, remembering her mother's sacrifices in raising her. "Thank you so much for all the birthday wishes mama. "I pray that you are always blessed and protected by God," she wrote. Anna also expressed her appreciation to friends and fans who sent her birthday wishes. Anna Jobling declines Indonesian TV role over explicit scenes
17 Mar - Anna Jobling recently admitted that she had to say no to a TV project in Indonesia due to the existence of several questionable scenes. The actress, who has been making a name in the country since the success of "Melur Untuk Firdaus" a few years ago, said that she originally agreed to star in the drama, but had to withdraw after reading the script. "When I was reading the script, I found that there are some scenes that are not suitable for me to portray and I am not comfortable doing. Although it has an Islamic theme, the drama still has some explicit scenes," she said. Anna added that it was not something that she is willing to do. "I believe in God's blessings. Maybe I am not meant for that drama, but there will be other blessings for me," she said. The actress, who now stars in the new Ramadan drama, "Honey Minta Maaf", said that she will never do explicit scenes or even scenes that require her to wear sexy outfits, seeing that she is not that kind of person.
