THESE Are My Top 10 MOST Anticipated Movies Coming Out In 2026… My Taste May Be Controversial
First off, some honorable mentions... 10. Moana (live-action) I think this movie would have been put higher on the list if it weren't for the release of Moana 2 coming BEFORE the live-action version. The announcement for this movie came and people were excited but also confused, because it hasn't even been 10 years since the original Moana movie came out. I think a lot of this movie's hype got shoved away due to the release of the sequel. Nonetheless, I'm a little antsy to see how it turns out!Truly, I still want to see a live-action Tangled as well... 9. Mega Minions I kind of have a tradition at this point in watching the Minion/ Despicable Me movies in theaters. Why should this one be any different? I am hoping for a more in-depth plot that doesn't include 75% minion dialogue... the second Minions movie did that pretty well, so I have high hopes for this one's for the nieces and nephews tbh. 8. I Can Only Imagine 2 This faith-based movie is definitely getting a watch from me! I really liked watching the first movie with my mom. It's quite an inspiring story that will pull at your heartstrings but also leave you encouraged. I'm excited to see the next one!MercyMe is still releasing Christian contemporary music today and I'm still enjoying! 7. Spider-Man: Brand New Day I won't lie... I haven't gotten up to watching the latest Spider-Man movie BUT I plan on it, in order keep up with this one that is making its way next summer! This is still an exciting release, I mean... Spider-Man will forever be hyped much as Tom Holland kills it as Spider-Man, Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man series still takes the cake for me! 6. Super Mario World I watched the first one in theaters and loved it! I went from disliking Princess Peach my whole childhood to not minding her as much in the movie. (don't ask why, I just preferred Daisy as a kid...) I am hoping for some more characters to be introduced, like Daisy ofc, maybe even Waluigi, or more Wario! Is anyone else still hoping for Bowser to release some more music? 5. Narnia I remember watching these as a kid at my grandma's house with my brother... pure nostalgia. With the greater access we have to special effects etc. now, along with how good the first movies were, AND having Greta Gerwig as a director... I can't wait to see how this movie turns out!I'm hoping it'll live up to expectations! 4. Ice Age 6 Did we really need another Ice Age movie? No... are we getting one? Yes! I can't complain tbh. I loved watching all of the Ice Age movies growing up and still enjoy pressing play on them now. The humor has aged well and can be enjoyed by kids AND adults - unlike a lot of kids shows/ movies that are released nowadays with plots, characters, and dialogue that mostly just annoy adults. I'm excited to be taken back to the Ice Age with this new movie!*Cue all of the incoming Sid the Sloth memes* 3. Jumanji 3 I feel like this movie series is extremely underrated. I loved the first movie and was super excited to get a second. So, I'm definitely anticipating the release of this one just as much, though I am a tad bit worried for it to live up to the rest of the series... third movie installments tend to be weaker imo. Nonetheless, you bet I'll be trying to get tickets to the theaters for this one!Dare I say that I enjoy the modern-day Jumanji movies over the original? 2. Shrek 5 This one was almost my number one… And I'd maybe consider it tied with first place if they would change up the animation just a tad bit. But, even if they don't end up making Shrek and Fiona look like actual ogres, instead of anti aging skin care regimen, lip filler, modern-day influencers painted green... I'm still looking forward to the storyline continuation of the Shrek series because it's been one of my favorites since I was a kid. Minus the hiatus I took when Shrek is love, Shrek is life came out and scarred me for almost 6 years...I still can't believe that a stupid YouTube video made me ditch watching my second favorite animated movie of all time... aka Shrek 2. (Bee Movie being #1) 1. The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reeping Me being excited about this movie is absolutely an understatement. The announcement of this movie caused a reaction in us Hunger Games fans that couldn't be contained. From the book release hype to the FANTASTIC job they did in character casting... you best bet this is my MOST anticipated movie coming out in 2026. I might just add a countdown to November 20th, 2026 in my phone tbh.

Wolfgang Van Halen, Billy Bob Thornton and 3 other big names playing Green Bay this fall
Monster guitar riffs from Wolfgang Van Halen. "No Scrubs" by TLC. A night with Billy Bob Thornton the musician, not the actor. Summer hasn't even arrived yet, but music fans who want to get in on some of fall's biggest concerts will need to do their ticket planning now. Here's five newly announced shows for Green Bay that have tickets that either just went on sale or go on sale May 9. Billy Bob Thornton & The Boxmasters will make the only Wisconsin stop on the band's fall tour for a concert on Sept. 17 at the Ashwaubenon Performing Arts Center. Billy Bob Thornton & The Boxmasters 7:30 p.m. Sept. 17 at Ashwaubenon Performing Arts Center, Ashwaubenon. The Academy Award-winning actor and star of Paramount+ series "Landman" makes his only Wisconsin stop on a U.S. tour in support of his band's 19th album, "Pepper Tree Hill," out July 11. The scramble to get tickets for this one is going to be real. Eric Church is always a slam dunk when he plays the Resch (seven sellouts and counting since 2012), but one of country music's biggest risk-takers with one of the genre's most passionate fanbases is only playing 22 cities on his Free the Machine Tour, and Green Bay is among the smallest markets to land a stop. Also fueling the excitement: rave reviews for his new "Evangeline vs. The Machine" album that dropped May 2. Rolling Stone called it "dazzling" and "a masterwork." The Marcus King Band opens. Tickets are $87 and up; on sale at 10 a.m. May 9; only (no phone or box office sales until after May 9). TLC's Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, pictured, and Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins will perform Sept. 25 at EPIC Event Center in Ashwaubenon. TLC 7:30 p.m. Sept. 25 at EPIC Event Center, Ashwaubeon. Mammoth, which recently dropped the "WVH" from its name, just released a new single, "The End," from the group's forthcoming third album.
