Dimple Jhangiani remembers her first day on sets of her debut show Kuchh Is Tara on 31st May says, 'Ekta Kapoor selected me from a small hoarding'
For actress Dimple Jhangiani, the end of this month is very special. She said, "I always wait for May, to celebrate the marriage anniversary of my parents. They are my world and I'm always looking for opportunities to make them feel special and celebrate with them." She continued, "I'm also very thankful for this month. As my life took a positive turn on 31st May. As I started shooting for the first time. I still remember was very nervous in the beginning. It was my first day and meeting actors whom I had seen on screen. And I was to play a titular role with so many senior actors. But everyone was so polite, welcoming and humble. They helped me to find my comfort zone and gave me a lot of confidence. I performed so well without having to have acting experience. I never did any acting workshop all I learnt was from here on set." Revealing her equation with , the producer of the show. She added, "I still remember meeting Ekta Ma'am for the first time. I was shivering, outside her cabin. As it was unbelievable for me. I was a teenager. She selected me from a small hoarding in which I was featured as a model. And when I entered her cabin, she was so kind and sweet. She made me so comfortable, such a grounded lady. I really had a great time working with her. I consider her my Guru, she changed my life for good. She helped me make my dreams come true. And we continue to share the same warm relationship to date. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now I remember during February, the day I delivered my baby Shivona, she met me in hospital and she held my baby in her arms and gave her so many blessings. I felt so happy and I had tears in my eyes. It was one of the best moments in my life." Talking about her co-stars, Vishal Singh and Akashdeep Saigal. She adds, "They both are sweet and talented guys. We all shared a beautiful relationship during that time. But now we are all busy in our lives. Though I'm not much in touch with Akashdeep. But I and Vishal still continue to keep in touch." Dimple is also known for featuring in shows such as Amrit Manthan, Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat, Beintehaa,and Meri Durga among others.

Being into fitness, how do you manage time between studies, shoots, and workouts? It definitely affects your schedule, but you have to find time—either before or after shoots. I don't strictly follow a gym routine. I prefer cycling, swimming, jogging, and weightlifting. When I have late call times or an off day, I make the most of it. Two days ago, fashionista Uorfi Javed revealed that she received an opportunity to make an appearance at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, but couldn't make it as her visa got rejected. Now, she shared a note on Instagram, stating that walking the Cannes red carpet is not an achievement unless one's film is being premiered. She revealed the 'truth' behind going to Cannes, explaining that brands often sponsor influencers or celebrities to attend, or individuals can even buy tickets to the film festival. She added that it is not an achievement for anyone, but an opportunity to promote oneself. On Friday, Uorfi Javed took to her Instagram stories and wrote, 'Going to Cannes is an opportunity which isn't based on your merit. Brands buy tickets to the red carpet and give them to influencers/celebrities to represent the brand. Individuals can also buy tickets. Walking the Cannes red carpet is not an achievement, not even for me. It's an opportunity to promote yourself. That's the truth. Here I said it." She further added, 'Unless you're film is being premiered at the festival (yeah then it's an achievement), other than that anyone can do it (if you have money or brands are ready to sponsor you)." My business didn't work. I tried a bunch of other different things only to face rejections." She added, 'Got an opportunity to go to Cannes through Indie Wild. (Big big thank you to diipa khosla and kshitij kankaria) But as the fate would have it, my visa got rejected." Uorfi shared that she believes rejections aren't the end, but rather a push to work even harder. She went on to encourage her followers to share their own 'rejection stories" to help support and uplift others. She wrote, 'I'm sure a lot of you guys must be going through rejections yourself and I would love to know your stories. Let's support and uplift each other." Concluding her note, she added, 'Every rejection is an opportunity if you look carefully. After so many rejections in life. I am not stopping and so should not you."
