McDonald's Monopoly game is back and these are the prizes up for grabs in 2025
McDonald's has announced the prizes set to be given away in this year's Monopoly game McDonald's has revealed the prizes up for grabs in this year's Monopoly game, set to kick off on Wednesday, September 10. Cash prizes worth more than £2 million are up for grabs, along with food, holidays, travel, and experiences. The top prize of £100,000 cash will be available to three lucky customers, while 60 others could bag themselves £5,000 in cash. This year, 90 potential winners could land a £2,000 Jet2holiday, and there will be opportunities to win £200 train credit, more than 300 Merlin Annual Passes, more than 500 LG OLED TVs, and more than 4,000 £100 Virgin Experience Days. Prizes also include a life-sized Monopoly experience for two, with £250 spending money and exclusive McDonald's x Monopoly merchandise such as hoodies, T-shirts, and a McDonald's version of the classic Monopoly game. These prizes come on top of millions of instant food wins and rewards points, with a one in four chance of an instant win on-pack, reports Bristol Live. The popular promotion, which launched in 2006, operates similarly to the classic Monopoly board game. Customers can win prizes by collecting Game Pieces from menu items like fries, wraps, drinks, and McFlurrys. By peeling off the Game Pieces from selected menu items, customers can reveal an Instant Win Prize or a Property Code, which can be scanned and banked in the McDonald's (UK) app. This year, McDonald's is replacing the Digital Peel feature with the McDonald's Monopoly Special Edition World. Upon scanning the code on a physical Property game-piece, customers tap the GO button within the app to watch Grimace dash around a 3D gameboard. The square that the user lands on could result in property cards, prizes, reward points or cash. They include August 24 and 25 and October 18, 25, 26 and 31. One of these rollercoasters boasts the title of the UK's tallest, fastest and most weightless rollercoaster - Hyperia. There are also water rides to enjoy on the hotter days. At Alton Towers Resort - the UK's largest theme park - there are over 40 rides and attractions for all ages.
