In reality, you're not going to be using this phone very often—that's partly the point—so battery life may be even better. And when it does need a charge, it has USB-C. On the inside, you'll find an easy-to-read interface with large keys, making navigation simple. On the outside, there's a 1.77-inch display for quick glances, while the main internal screen comes in at 3.2 inches. Under the hood, you're looking at a Snapdragon 4s Gen2 octa-core processor, paired with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and KaiOS 4.0 for the software experience. If you're unfamiliar with KaiOS, it's essentially a modern version of the 'feature phone' software from back in the day. You get access to basic Google apps, like Google Maps to help you find your way, and even YouTube. There's also a 5MP rear camera for snapping photos, an FM radio, and a music player that can handle everything from MP3s to FLAC files. Plus, with HD Voice, noise-canceling dual microphones, and an amplified speaker, your calls should sound excellent. So, whether you're looking for a dependable, affordable phone that can pull you away from your everyday distraction machine smartphone, or you're totally not interested in smartphones at all, the TCL FLIP 4 5G might just be worth checking out. For $120, Metro by T-Mobile will open the door to 5G for you with the new TCL K32

Teased at CES 2025 some months ago, the TCL K32 5G phone is now available at Metro by T-Mobile. The budget-friendly device is far from the performance benchmarks of flagships like the iPhone 16 Pro or the Galaxy S25 Ultra, but its price is also far lower than those costly flagships. We're talking about a smartphone that is 5G capable and will set you back $119.99, as the offer by Metro by T-Mobile clarifies. The TCL K32 5G comes with a large 6.75-inch HD+ display (720x1612 px resolution) and a 2-in-1 camera setup on its back. The main snapper is a 13 MP one, and there's a 2 MP depth sensor that doubles as a macro lens, although I wouldn't rely on it to produce striking up close bee shots for National Geographic. On the front, there's a 5 MP selfie camera that should be enough for making those video a large battery on board, and that's great, frankly speaking. The cell is rated at 5,010 mAh capacity, which should get you through the day, and there are features like Smart Manager and Battery Saver on board to help you keep the lights on longer. Image credit – TCL Under the hood, the Midnight Blue TCL K32 5G (that's the only color it comes in) packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chipset. This processor was presented last summer and it's unreasonable to expect miracles out of it. Again, don't forget that we're talking about a $120 phone (that has a large display and a large battery!)There's 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage available, but that can be easily expanded to up to 2 TB via a MicroSD card – something that flagships these days refuse to offer. There's also a 3.5 mm headphone jack (really useful), dual speakers, but no charging brick is included. Android 15 is the operating system you'll use out of the box. The TCL K32 5G is a great way to enter the smartphone 5G realm. If there's someone in your life who is still using a legacy phone, but wants to give modernity a try, $120 sounds like a reasonable price to pay for the try-out.

Metro by T-Mobile offers customers the option to lower monthly bills by 30%

Metro by T-Mobile has just announced a partnership with Play2Pay to offer the carrier's customers the option to lower their monthly bills by 30 percent by simply playing games. Play2Pay, a US-based company that enables mobile phone users to pay their service provider bills by playing games, is not working with a US carrier for the first time. Before adding Metro by T-Mobile to its list of partners, Play2Pay helped carriers like AT&T and Cricket raise their revenues by increasing subscriber engagement on the platform. Starting today, Metro by T-Mobile customers can work toward lowering their monthly bills via the Ad It Up app, which is available on both iOS and Android operating systems. Simply playing games and exploring offers is enough to earn rewards toward credits on Metro says that the more customers engage, the more credits they earn, and the less they pay for their wireless service. It's a nice addition to Metro's portfolio of incentives that also includes no contracts, no credit checks and no surprises buzzwords. – said Brian Boroff, founder and CEO of Play2Pay, May 2025 If you're a Metro customer, here is how it works. Make sure to install Ad It App on your phone via Google Play or App Store. If you're a new Metro by T-Mobile customer, then Ad It App comes pre-installed on your Android phone, so you won't have to install it yourself. If you're using an iPhone, you still have to look for the app in the App Store. Play2Pay has worked with other US carriers in the past, including AT&T and Cricket | Image credit: Play2Pay Then, open the app and select from more than 300 games and app, as well as many of the promotions that Play2Pay has available for Metro customers. These can be both entertaining and rewarding. According to an Emarketer study, US adults spend an average of nearly 25 minutes daily on mobile games. If you're one of those people and you're also a Metro customer, this incentive is probably right up your alley. The study doesn't say anything about teenagers who most likely spend even more time playing games on their smartphones. I'm not saying that you should force your kid to play games to lower your monthly bill, especially if you're not into gaming, but you can definitely reward them for helping out.
