Standards Authority destroys goods & commodities that violate specifications
Sana'a - Saba: The Yemeni Standards, Metrology and Quality Control Authority (YSQA) has destroyed a number of goods and goods in a number of provinces. In a statement issued today, the authority said it destroyed 214 cartons of expired foodstuffs in Sa'ada province, 1,000 cartons of barley drink, and 53 cartons of fruits in Sana'a due to their violation of the approved standard specifications. Sana'a - Saba: The Yemeni Standards, Metrology and Quality Control Authority has issued a warning to consumers and traders not to buy or sell the Maragatty chicken stock product of Egyptian origin. The authority explained in a statement that this product contains prohibited artificial colors that are forbidden to be used in food products due to the negative effects they may cause on consumer health...
