Michael Brockers sees the Rams, not the Lions, as the biggest threat to the Eagles

Michael Brockers sees the Rams, not the Lions, as the biggest threat to the Eagles No team came closer to knocking off the Philadelphia Eagles last postseason than the Los Angeles Rams, who took them down to the wire in the divisional round. The Rams were 13 yards away from a potential game-winning touchdown, losing by just six points on the road in snowy Philadelphia. Despite that, there are still four other teams with better odds to win the NFC title game than the Rams: the Eagles, Lions, 49ers and Commanders, according to BetMGM. In Michael Brockers' mind, the Rams are actually the biggest threat to the Eagles in the NFC. He made his case on 'Good Morning Football' this week, pointing out that the Lions lost both coordinators this offseason. 'Sean McVay, his staff, they always draft really well,' Brockers said. 'They kind of know what they're doing and like I said earlier, they're silently building a team. They have Davante Adams, Matthew Stafford still has it. … Arm is still there, his mind is still sharp, so I see the Rams being the biggest threat to the Philadelphia Eagles.' In hindsight, the Rams were the biggest threat to the Eagles last season, nearly upsetting them in the playoffs. Had they pulled it off, they would've hosted the NFC Championship Game against the Commanders, a game they undoubtedly would've been favored to win. The Rams reloaded this offseason by bringing in Davante Adams, Poona Ford and Coleman Shelton in free agency, also adding six rookies in the draft – including second-round tight end Terrance Ferguson. If they can stay healthy and get off to a better start than they have the last two years, the Rams will be a real threat in the NFC.
