NY man to serve 25 years in prison for production of child porn
(WJET/WFXP) – A New York man will serve over two decades in prison after producing child pornography for several years.
On Tuesday, April 29, Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced that 37-year-old Michael Swain from Towanda, New York, was sentenced to serve 25 years in prison after being convicted of producing child pornography.

According to Assistant Attorney Aaron Mango, Swain had coerced five minors into engaging in sexually explicit activities to produce pornography between late October and early November of 2021.
Specifically, Swain used Discord, a social media app, to talk to a 15-year-old Colorado girl and repeatedly asked her to send him sexually explicit videos and images.

Swain was also found to have been communicating with and receiving explicit material from a minor from 2019 until 2022.
Eventually, on February 28, 2023, the FBI raided Swain's home and found a desktop computer, a laptop and an external hard drive all containing child pornography.
The Towanda Police Department, the FBI Buffalo Office Child Exploitation Human Trafficking Task Force and the New York State Police conducted the investigation that led to Swain's conviction.
