Beer permit of Seymour gas station revoked after underage sale citation
SEYMOUR, Tenn. (WATE) — A Seymour gas station has had their license to sell alcohol revoked after being cited by the Sevier County Sheriff's Office.
Jimmy's Market #12, located at 12221 Chapman Highway, was served a notice from the Sevier County Beer Board on Monday that their beer permit has been revoked. According to the sheriff's office, the business was cited in November for an underage sale.

Under state law, no new permit or license can be issued for the same premises for one year. The board may issue a new permit before the end of the one-year period if the applicant is not the original holder of the permit or any family member who could inherit it from them.
