People in Doha, Qatar's capital, stopped and looked up as the missiles flew, and interceptors fired and struck at least one missile in the night sky. The Qatari defence ministry said its defence systems intercepted the attack on the Al Udeid Air Base and the incident 'did not result in any deaths or injuries'. 4.02am Iran claims it matched number of bombs US dropped Iran has said its attack on Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar was a match for same number of bombs dropped by the US on nuclear sites over the weekend. The regime also claimed, according to the Associated Press, that it targeted the base because it was outside of populated areas.
