Costco issues urgent recalls: Shoppers told to stop using power banks, air conditioners, tires, and more

is urging customers across the U.S. to immediately stop using a wide range of products after a series of
urgent recalls
were issued for safety and health hazards. The recall list, released in early July 2025, covers nearly a dozen popular items sold both online and in stores—including electronics, home appliances, tires, and even bottled water—prompting swift action from shoppers and the retailer alike.

These units may drain poorly, leading to mold growth and respiratory hazards. Customers are told to disconnect and discontinue use immediately.
Michelin Agilis CrossClimate C-Metric and Bridgestone Blizzak 6 Tires:
Michelin tires risk tread chunks detaching, while Bridgestone tires lack DOT certification, failing federal safety standards. Both pose significant driving hazards and must be replaced.
Topo Chico Mineral Water (Select Lot Codes in Texas and Louisiana):
Recalled due to potential glass contamination. Customers are advised to check lot codes and return affected cases for a full refund.
Fresh and Ready Foods Prepared Sandwiches and Salads (AZ, CA, NV, WA):
Pulled from shelves over concerns of bacterial contamination at select Business Center locations.
Other Items:

Why the recalls?
The recalls were prompted by reports of injuries, fire risks,
