Beloved Disney World character gets a facelift this fall — and fans are shocked: ‘Screaming, crying, throwing up!'

Finally, a change at the House of Mouse nobody's complaining about. Jack Skellington is getting a special and spooky makeover for fall — and Disney fans are losing their minds. With Walt Disney World Resort preparing well ahead of schedule for their annual Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Orlando, planners have leaked a peak at the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town — showing off a brand-new look that's already turning heads. Advertisement 4 Say goodbye to the bulbous, borderline creepy mask that once topped Jack's towering figure — a look that had fans cringing just two years ago (above). MediaNews Group via Getty Images Gone will be the bulbous, almost eerie mask that once capped off the character's towering frame — a design that previously left critics less than thrilled, with some referring to the beloved seasonal character as 'horrific' on social media. Now, Jack is looking a lot more like his on-screen self from the 1993 animated classic, 'The Nightmare Before Christmas,' voiced by Danny Elfman. Advertisement The new mask is sleeker, fitting closer to the performer's face — and his mouth now stretches wide across his visage, perfectly mimicking the skeletal smirk from the film. Disney diehards have flooded the comments of a recent Instagram post from @disneyparks, celebrating the revamped look with its 3.2 million followers. The post caption read, 'What's This? The Pumpkin King is making a wicked return this Halloween season.' 4 The new mask, as seen in the post above, is tighter and sleeker, with a grin that now stretches wide across the performer's face, nailing Jack's iconic skeletal smirk from the movie. disneyparks/Instagram Advertisement 'Thank you for changing that horrific mask,' one user cheered, while another gushed, 'Finally, the Jack we deserve.' 'Screaming, crying, throwing up!!!!!! The mask!!!!' another wrote regarding the character Tim Burton helped bring to life. 'Are you kidding me?!?!? I'm in love!!!!' one fan exclaimed, and another added, 'Oh my God, THERE he is. Jack, we've been waiting for you for so long!!!!!' 4 As Walt Disney World preps for its annual Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween bash, the Pumpkin King is rocking a fresh new look — and fans are doing double takes. BW Advertisement 'Now he is really looking like himself. So excited for Disney's Halloween season,' another user shared. One other commented 'SOOOOO HAPPY THANK YOU FOR DOING HIM JUSTICE!!!!' as someone else wrote, 'The best announcement to wake up to! And Jack looks amazing!' But the 'improved' makeover isn't limited to just Jack. 4 And Jack's not the only one getting a spooky spruce-up — one eagle-eyed fan spotted that Sally's look got a little cosmetic 'upgrade' too. One sharp-eyed fan also noticed that his love interest, Sally, got a cosmetic 'upgrade' too. 'While Jack looks SO much better, I haven't seen a single comment about Sally's new makeup! Go off, cosmetology,' they quipped. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicks off on August 15 and runs through Halloween night — bringing ghoulish goodies, character greetings, and trick-or-treating trails to the Magic Kingdom. Now, it seems like Jack and Sally will be dressing to impress.
