In May, the studio announced "The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball," a continuation of their hit series "The Amazing World of Gumball," which follows a wily blue cat as he gets into all sorts of hijinks. The teaser trailer, released May 20, excited a long-hungry fan base. The original "Gumball" series ran on Cartoon Network from 2011 to 2019, and has been on hiatus for almost as long. The new series, which promises to be much of the same but under a new name, is from the original creator and executive producer, Ben Bocquelet, and is produced by Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe.
