Associated Press TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — Javan Simmons had 22 points in Toledo's 96-82 victory against Ohio in a regular season finale on Friday. Both teams finish the Mid-America Conference regular season with a 10-8 record and tied for fourth place. They will face each other Thursday in the quarterfinal round of the conference tournament at Rocket Arena in Cleveland. Simmons added seven rebounds for the Rockets (17-14). Sam Lewis scored 20 points and added five rebounds. Seth Hubbard shot 7 of 13 from the field and 3 for 4 from the line to finish with 17 points, while adding nine rebounds. Sullinger went 6 of 13 from the field (6 for 9 from 3-point range) for the Golden Flashes (21-10, 11-7). VonCameron Davis scored 16 points while going 5 of 10 from the floor, including 1 for 3 from 3-point range, and 5 for 7 from the line and added five rebounds and four steals. Cian Medley shot 4 for 13, including 3 for 7 from beyond the arc to finish with 11 points.
