Throwback video of Smriti Irani dancing with Mika Singh surfaces online; Fans react with surprise

Actress-turned-politician Smirti Irani captivated fans with her performance in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and became a household name. Her role of Tulsi is still one of the iconic characters of Indian television. However, not many know that apart from iconic TV show KSBKBT, the actress also featured in a music video with Mika Singh . The clip of the music video has resurfaced online where Smirti is seen dancing with the singer. An old music video of Union Minister Smriti Irani dancing with pop singer Mika Singh has resurfaced online, bringing back fond memories of her days in showbiz. The clip shows a younger Irani grooving alongside Mika, reminding fans of her life in entertainment before entering the world of politics. People on social media reacted to the video with surprise and warmth. Many commented on how quickly time has passed and were amazed by Smriti Irani's journey from the entertainment world to becoming a serious figure in Indian politics . Recently, at an event Smriti Irani looked back on her journey through two of the most challenging professions in India—media and politics. Speaking candidly at an event, Smriti shared how her success across both these demanding fields is not just a result of effort or talent alone but a combination of perseverance, principles, and, in her words, 'divine intervention.' 'I think I am blessed, particularly because people rarely get to have one successful career in a lifetime. I've had the opportunity to work in two of the toughest fields in this country—media and politics,' she said. Irani, who rose to fame as Tulsi Virani in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, and later went on to hold key political portfolios, believes success in such spaces demands more than just skill. In both these fields, you have to be an inherent hard worker. You need to have potential, otherwise you will never find your feet. The fact that I could compete and carve a space for myself—I think that's a great blessing." There are also reports that Ekta Kapoor has confirmed a reboot version of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Smriti Irani might return as Tulsi Virani. Mika Singh Vows To SLAP Kamaal R Khan In Public After Diss Video

Last Updated: Singer Mika Singh and critic Kamaal R Khan (KRK) are in a heated feud. Mika threatened to slap KRK over a diss video on him. The ongoing war of words between singer Mika Singh and self-proclaimed critic Kamaal R Khan (KRK) has gotten a whole lot more intense. After KRK released a diss video targeting Mika, the singer didn't hold back and declared that he's ready to settle the score — with a slap. The feud between the two has been simmering for a while Speaking to Shubhankar Mishra on his YouTube channel, Mika opened up about how he confronted KRK at the start of the year. He said he gave KRK a New Year's call but not to exchange pleasantries. Mika explained that he made sure KRK was alone before calling him out directly. 'I told him, 'Gadhe tune phir mujhe galiya dedi. Tu pagal hai kya (Donkey, you again abused me. Are you mad?). Listen, I love you, but when you come to Mumbai next time, I will definitely slap you. Tell this to whoever you want. Whenever you meet me next, I will slap you, whether in front of the media or alone and will tell you your mistake,'" Mika said, not mincing words. As for KRK's reaction? According to Mika, it was far from confrontational. 'He didn't respond to me. He just said, 'Happy New Year bhai,'" Mika added. Earlier, during a chat with The Lallantop, Mika shared that he and Honey Singh once paid a visit to KRK's home in Dubai. They were upset over the way KRK spoke about them in his videos and apparently, they didn't hold back in showing their displeasure. 'KRK had said something about Honey. He was very upset and told me, 'paaji yeh aisaa aisaa bolta hai.' Ayushmann Khurrana and Kapil Sharma were also very upset with KRK. So, I told Honey, 'We'll go to him, visit him in Dubai, and talk. We'll act as if both of us are drunk. He will abuse us, but you do whatever you want with him.' We were very rude to him. The next day, KRK told us that we had behaved very badly with him. And I told him that I don't remember anything because we were drunk. Apparently, we pulled his hair…" After the Dubai episode, KRK had dissed Mika in a video saying, 'Mika is a donkey. He is uneducated, uncouth, and still calls himself a singer. He said that I met him in Dubai and that he misbehaved with me. The next day, he told me he didn't remember what happened. He is right, he met me in Dubai and kept calling me for days, so I invited him home. He promised he'd show up but didn't. The next day, I asked his manager about it, and apparently, Mika was afraid that I would kidnap him. What would I gain by kidnapping this loser? He's a nobody." First Published:

Mika Singh Says Critics Mocked Him For Crying On Reality Shows

Last Updated: Mika Singh revealed how he started crying in front of Priyanka Chopra during his singing performance in a reality show. Mika Singh has always been vocal about his opinion. Known for delivering many hit songs in his long career, the singer revealed that sometimes he is unaware of his singing ability to hit certain notes. In a recent interview, he opened up about a shocking incident when he cried in front of Priyanka Chopra while performing on a reality show. He also claimed that many people criticised him for getting emotional while singing and called it drama. During a podcast with Shubhankar Mishra on his YouTube channel, Mika said, 'Sometimes I would cry listening to my songs. I think it's age also. I cried after singing two lines of a song on a reality show. If I tell somebody, they won't believe me. They will say, 'Kaunsa tu Tansen ki aulad hai'." Recalling that incident, the Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag singer revealed, 'I was singing the song 'Bade Achhe Lagte Hain' at the show, and I became happy listening to myself sing. Priyanka Chopra was sitting beside me, and I started crying. Trolls said, 'He can't sing, that's why he is crying.' Now, the whole industry cries on reality shows, but when I used to do that, people would ask me, 'Why are you doing this?'" Furthermore, in the same interview, the Punjabi singer stressed why Ankit Tiwari hasn't been successful in the Hindi film industry, even after delivering constant hits. He said, 'I have never understood why Ankit Tiwari didn't make it big in Bollywood. To date, I still don't understand why he didn't get the opportunity that he deserves. He's an amazing singer—my favourite." He further added, 'I don't know why he couldn't go further; only God knows. He's one of the best singers out there. The controversy might be one reason, but moving ahead after something like that becomes difficult. He's very talented, and his voice is absolutely beautiful. Songs like Sun Raha Hai Na Tu, Dil Darbadar, and Teri Galliyan—what a voice he has… they were all super hit songs," On the work front, Mika Singh is gearing up for the third instalment of the Welcome franchise, Welcome to the Jungle. The film also includes a star-studded ensemble, including Akshay Kumar, Disha Patani, Suniel Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Paresh Rawal, Lara Dutta, Arshad Warsi, Jacqueline Fernandez, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav and more. Mika Singh recalls face-off with Sameer Wankhede at airport, says Customs treated him like 'Dawood Ibrahim' after USD 2 lakh tweet: 'I'm not some idiot'

Mika Singh vs Customs Tweet that triggered chaos Mika Singh reveals he once got a 'tight slap' from his girlfriend: 'I became very loyal after that and would be scared of her' Singer Mika Singh , who is known as much for his music as for his flair for controversy, has once again made headlines, this time for a bold anecdote about an old run-in with Indian Customs officials. In a recent chat with YouTuber Shubhankar Mishra, Mika recounted how a moment of anger led him to tweet that he was entering India with USD 2 lakh in foreign currency, daring officials to stop incident dates back to a time when IRS officer Sameer Wankhede allegedly stopped Mika and his band members at the airport for carrying foreign currency exceeding the permissible limit. 'Sameer Wankhede — he is my good friend now — stopped me once. The members of my band were also with me. At that time, each person was allowed to carry USD 1,000. Now I think the permissible limit is USD 10,000,' Mika recalled being upset when told he couldn't carry the amount, and how news quickly spread outside the airport that he had been 'detained.' 'I hadn't even heard that word before. I was so sad,' he happened next was pure Mika-style drama. 'I became very angry, particularly since I used to do a lot of shows for the Customs department. Then, I tweeted saying, 'I am coming with USD 2 lakh; catch me if you can!'' he shared. True to his prediction, the airport was teeming with officials when he landed. 'It was like Dawood Ibrahim was about to step out wearing gold around the neck,' he clarified that the tweet was made in jest and said he never expected officials to take it seriously. 'I posted it without giving it much thought. I asked them, 'What did you guys think — that I would actually bring USD 2 lakh with me? I'm not some idiot.''In the end, though his dollar joke fizzled out, the officials still found something to act upon. 'I had two bottles of premium scotch whisky with me. They imposed customs duty on that instead,' he concluded with a laugh.
