Pilot Fuels Stroke Awareness Month with Round-Up and Lifesaving Education

Pilot Company volunteers work in garden at Inskip Elementary School
KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — As part of their new Miles of Good program, volunteers from Pilot partnered with Keep Knoxville Beautiful for planting at Inskip Elementary School. As part of a volunteer day, Pilot sent workers to Inskip as well as the YWCA Phyllis Wheatley Center Wednesday morning. At Inskip, they added new plants to the garden area and picked up trash around the school. Man killed, driver charged after crash on North Broadway 'We want to make a large impact within the community,' said Annie Waldorf, a senior specialist in talent management with Pilot. 'For us, it's all about making a huge impact, working together and showing people that they matter.' Miles of Good is a new Pilot initiative with three pillars — safety, education, and veterans, Waldorf explained.
