The Ministry of Finance (MoF) organised the "Ministry of Finance Innovates—Innovation Journey" event in Dubai, spotlighting innovation as a cornerstone for digital transformation during UAE Innovation Month 2025. The event aimed to foster creativity, encourage knowledge exchange, and accelerate technological advancements within the financial sector. Younis Haji AlKhoori, Under-Secretary of the Ministry, alongside assistant undersecretaries, department directors, employees, and strategic partners, attended the event. AlKhoori highlighted the significance of innovation in shaping the future of public finance, stating, 'Innovation is not just a tool but a necessity for achieving leadership and sustainability.' He reaffirmed the ministry's dedication to cultivating a future-ready work environment driven by fresh ideas and digital solutions. The event featured the launch of the "Innovation Experience Journey," an interactive initiative designed to stimulate creativity through five key stages. These stages guide participants from exploration to implementation, using hands-on activities and gamified challenges to transform ideas into actionable solutions. Fatima Yousif Al Naqbi, Acting Assistant Under-Secretary for the Support Services Sector, emphasised that innovation is an ongoing mindset embedded in the ministry's culture. 'It's not a one-time effort but an ongoing journey that pushes us toward our goal of global leadership in the financial sector,' she said.
