RHOD's Londie London on heated clash with Minnie Ntuli: ‘I was proud of how I handled myself'
After a whirlwind fifth season of The Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) came to a close with reunion no-shows and explosive never-before-seen footage, Londiwe 'Londie London' Zulu is feeling vindicated. Londie's brief return to RHOD since her debut in season two stirred issues between her and Minnie Ntuli, a friend of the show and co-host of The Uprising morning show with Felix Hlophe on Gagasi FM. The last leg of the two-part reunion - which Minnie skipped out in in favour of posting her own 'un-reunion' online - revealed a clip of Londie and Minnie attempting a sit-down to hash out their issues. This turned heated as Minnie accused Londie of coming for her parents and aggressively poked Londie twice on her forehead, leaving fellow RHOD castmates and viewers in shock. Londie shares, 'It was definitely surreal seeing that scene again. But, honestly, I was proud of how I handled myself. 'I didn't allow myself to be baited into anything that doesn't reflect who I am. I always carry myself with intention: I'm a mother, a daughter and a businesswoman. So, maintaining my composure, even in a heated moment, was a big win for me.' Since the final reunion part's airing, both Gagasi FM and Minnie have released statements acknowledging and denouncing Minnie's actions on the show, with the KwaZulu-Natal-based radio station switching out Minnie for Gagasi Sunday Groove radio host Nonkululeko 'Nkulee' Mbatha for their morning show. Part of Minnie's statement reads, 'This experience has made me realise the ripple effect of my behaviour — I've disappointed my family, my friends, my clients, and most importantly, the loyal listeners who tune in to my show every weekday. 'Because of this, I've decided to take some time off to reflect, to seek healing and to work on myself with the help of counselling. I will also be using this time to personally reach out to those I have hurt and to actively begin the process of atonement.' On if she's spoken to Minnie since the reunion aired, Londie reveals, 'No but she did try to reach out via a text message apologising in private. Which is quite different from the statement she released. It is quite disappointing that I was humiliated in public but I'm not getting a proper apology directed to me in public.' Fans of the reality show have been rallying behind Londie since the show's conclusion, with tens of thousands signing petitions to remove Minnie from media and television platforms. Fellow housewives including Sorisha Naidoo have also called for Londie's full-time return to the show and Londie shares how she would be open to returning on a full-time basis. 'I've always loved being part of the show. It's not just about the cameras, it's about the real relationships I've built with some of the women. There's genuine history and love there, and I'd be open to continuing that journey,' she explains. As a final note, Londie shares a few words of appreciation for her supporters. 'My heart is so full. The amount of love and support I've received has been truly overwhelming, in the best way. I'm so grateful to every single person who's stood by me and sent messages of encouragement. I've never experienced this kind of warmth before and I don't take it for granted.'

'We wanted Ayanda to shimmer and shine, just like the radiant diamond she truly is,' Andile said. Ayanda described her style as 'bold, creative and colourful.' Lo Sithole was styled by young designer Ntsike Ensembled. 'I wanted a look that makes me feel powerful, feminine and unapologetically me. 'This is a celebration of confidence. I was myself throughout the whole season, and when invited to an event, I made sure to stick to the theme, but with my style that suits my physique,' she said. Sorisha Naidoo wore a futuristic ensemble by the talented team at 18th Victorian. 'The look was inspired by an avatar garden and the future of fashion — robotics, movement and high-tech couture,' Sorisha explained. 'It featured dynamic, moving elements that pushed the boundaries of traditional red carpet style. Our aim was to showcase South African design as bold, futuristic and globally competitive.' Working with 18th Victorian over the years, Sorisha said the designers understand her personality, what accentuates her features, and what reflects her spirit. 'They always manage to strike that perfect balance between strength and softness. I'm grateful for the way they continue to experiment and elevate our local fashion to international standards. And I must say, it's always a joy to wear their creations — they allow me to embody the artistry they pour into each design.' NOW READ: Miss South Africa CEO steps down ahead of 2025 crowning

'I am appalled by how I behaved': Minnie Ntuli issues an apology
Minnie Ntuli has finally broken her silence after backlash over her behaviour on The Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD). The Gagasi FM radio personality, who joined in season 5, upset many viewers due to her controversial on-screen conduct. She first clashed with Precious Udoya, accusing her of selling poor-quality wigs and mistreating employees at Precious Brand Hair. Later, Minnie had another clash with Londie London, shockingly accusing her of being a prostitute who 'makes money lying down'. In part two of the reunion, which aired Friday 11 July, unseen footage showed their heated fight turning physically aggressive. Following the backlash, Minnie released a statement apologising for her behaviour after calls to Gagasi FM demanding her dismissal. In the statement, she admits watching the show back was difficult, says she feels 'appalled' by her actions, and takes accountability. 'Over the past few weeks, I've had to come face-to-face with the impact of my actions on The Real Housewives of Durban. Watching the show back has been deeply confronting. I am appalled by how I behaved, and I take full accountability for the role I played,' read the statement. Minnie further reveals that she has apologised to the cast members affected. She also expresses her willingness to make amends for her behaviour. 'I want to sincerely apologise to the affected cast members. I know my actions hurt others, and for that, I am truly sorry. I have reached out to them privately and publicly, and I remain committed to making amends, including having face-to-face conversations if and when they are open to it.' In addition, Minnie states that she has met with Gagasi FM management, who have expressed disappointment in her conduct. As a result, she agrees to pursue professional counselling and take time off. 'While my work on radio and my presence on the show are two separate platforms, both Gagasi FM and I agree that it is important I take accountability. The station has expressed disappointment in my behaviour, and together we've agreed that I will seek professional counselling to address my emotional responses,' she said. The statement continues: 'This experience has made me realise the ripple effect of my behaviour, I've disappointed my family, my friends, my clients, and most importantly, the loyal listeners who tune in to my show every weekday.' ‘I'm serving her': Londie London pursues legal action against Minnie Ntuli for RHOD assault
Unseen Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) reunion footage showed Minnie Ntuli assaulting Londie London during what was meant to be a clearing-the-air conversation. RHOD co-stars were left shocked, with Jojo Robinson calling the incident 'horrific to watch'. London said she is taking legal action against Ntuli, saying, 'She deserves to spend at least two weeks in jail'. Sultry reality star Londie London, real name Londiwe Zulu, is pursuing legal action against Real Housewives of Durban newcomer Minnie Ntuli after unseen footage showed her (Ntuli) assaulting the mother of two during part two of the season five reunion. In the physical altercation, the pair engaged in a one-on-one conversation, which London said she thought would clear the air about their on-screen beef. However, the conversation turned for the worse when Ntuli began to get visibly annoyed, eventually aggressively prodding London's forehead. READ | 'Brutal level of drama': Londie London on the 'mean-girl energy' of her season 5 comeback The unseen footage aired shortly after fellow cast member Angel Ndlela read an apology message from Ntuli to London. The cast members were all left visibly shocked after seeing the footage, with Jojo Robinson describing it as 'horrific to watch'. Guys what the hell? Minnie is insane! This is unseen footage of Minnie and Londie's issue! #RHODurbanS5 — Mkhwanazi's Daughter® (@DineoDMufamadi) July 11, 2025 'I want nothing to do with Minnie. I'm going to open a case of assault', London said. 'I'm serving her, even for defamation of character'. If she were here, I would have served her already'. Elsewhere, the mother of two said, 'She's evil. She deserves to spend at least two weeks in jail'. Throughout the show's fifth season, the pair butted heads in what appeared to be one-sided beef from Ntuli aimed at London. It was initially unclear where the beef originated, but as the fifth season of the Real Housewives of Durban wrapped up, London recalled that it stemmed from a remark she made about a dress Ntuli wore when she joined the show. From there, the relationship between the two cast members went downhill.
