Discover Placerville CA luxury farmhouse designed for ultimate entertainment
Inside Look is a Sacramento Bee series where we take readers behind the scenes at restaurants, new businesses, local landmarks and news stories. Bill Roberts designed his Placerville home to be an entertainer's paradise. Objective achieved. Roberts, founder of Good Guys Heating and Cooling, and his wife Ashley purchased the five-acre property east of Sacramento in 2019 for $535,000, according to public property records. They significantly renovated and expanded the existing, smaller home and added substantial outdoor amenities and landscaping. The original residence was built in the 1970s, but it's 'basically like new construction,' said listing agent Callie Mirsky of Cali Homes. She helped the couple purchase the property six years ago when 'it looked drastically different.' The property at 4244 Boles Road recently hit the market for $2.2 million. The architecture is a blend of ranch or country style and contemporary luxury design. High-end amenities throughout the residence add a modern, spacious and appealing aesthetic. The open-concept layout flows front to back. A sweeping backyard deck and outdoor kitchen offering stunning views of the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada is the icing on the cake. Spectacular gathering spaces are found at every turn, starting at the front entry and running to the back of the property where a full, covered bar awaits. The charming venue-style cantina provides numerous tables, a large fire pit, two restrooms, speakers, space for dancing and heating. The home spans 4,200 square feet with three bedrooms — including a primary suite and junior primary suite. The house 'lives like a single level,' Mirsky said, but up the stairs there's an incredible movie theater with an abundance of seats, as well as a concession area and a bathroom. The expansive gourmet kitchen sits just above the large family room adjacent to a big dining area. The kitchen features an oversized island, dining bar and plenty of storage, including a butler's pantry. The dining room opens out to a gorgeous rear veranda overlooking a park-like backyard, where meandering paths lead through large grassy areas and down to the rustic bar, fenced pastures and a sizeable chicken coop. The outdoor kitchen on the deck is impressive. It features a pizza oven, flat-top and regular grills, surround sound, wine fridge, a heating and cooling system underneath and retractable shades. The space is large enough for a firepit and a Jacuzzi-style spa, too. 'I don't know what more you could want,' Mirsky said. The property is a hobbyist's and recreation enthusiast's fantasy. A 2,500-square-foot detached shop with heating and air conditioning provides enough space for a car collector to store up to 12 vehicles. The workshop comes with a well-equipped insulated loft that provides a fun place to hang out. The hideaway has a half bathroom, television, refrigerators and pool table. Additional covered RV and boat storage is accessed from the other side of the home. 'There's room for all the toys,' MIrsky said. The primary bedroom, which overlooks the backyard, comes with a standalone luxurious bathtub, large walk-in closet with organizers and an oversized shower. The house contains practically everything a homeowner would want inside, but the design allows for versatility. For example, a big utility room includes office space with a built-in desk, a fitted dog crate, a washer and dryer and a large island for folding clothes or doing crafts or work projects. With the movie theater and bathroom up the stairs from the utility room, the wing could be transformed into separate living quarters for guests or family members. It has private access. Roberts and his wife planned to add a pool or pond to the property — there's plenty of space — but hadn't gotten around to it yet, Mirsky said. The couple are selling the Boles Road property after purchasing 160 acres nearby for their next endeavor, raising cattle, Mirsky said. Influencer apologizes after screaming racial slurs at parking attendants in Beverly Hills
Influencer Florence Mirsky has apologized after being filmed shouting racial slurs at parking attendants in Beverly Hills, California. Footage of Mirsky began circulating on Tuesday (January 28) showing her confronting the valet workers and using a slur for immigrants. She then tells the workers: 'President Donald Trump is doing good things because you guys rape people. You guys rape and kill people.' Mirsky, who shares a son with Grammy-winning record producer Scott Storch, then hands a $100 bill to one of the parking attendants and asks him to give her her change. She calls them 'poor' while bragging that she is 'rich.' One of the attendants responds saying she is 'poor of soul,' before she holds her phone up at another worker and asks him if he 'wanted to report' her. The video ends with her receiving her car keys from the valet worker. She then hits the phone that was recording her and told that person to 'get out of my f***ing face.' She was hit with immense backlash in the comments on the initial Instagram video, with one influencer, Carmen Ortega, claiming she'd had an altercation with Mirsky in the past. 'She needs to be reminded the last time she crossed a Latina, I mopped her floor with her face,' Ortega wrote. While it's now been deleted, Mirsky later posted a statement on Instagram to apologize for her behavior. 'I love Mexicans, and all people of all colors and religion!!' she wrote in her Instagram Story, reposted on X/Twitter. 'I did what I could today and apologized to the two men that did nothing to me. I am in a calm state of mind and I know I'm the farthest thing to racist. Just a spoiled brat with a dirty mouth. And that's the realist I can be. Sorry everyone.' She added: 'I take full accountability but meant nothing I said.' Mirsky also posted multiple videos to her Instagram Story about the situation. In one since-deleted clip, she claimed that the parking attendant 'grabbed her a**,' before she called him the racial slur. She noted that while she was 'so wrong' for the remark she made, she felt 'so violated' in the moment. She also claimed that she wished she called the police following the incident. 'I am sorry for what I said. I've been around Mexicans, dated Mexicans my whole life. My parents are immigrants,' she continued. 'I am the farthest thing from racist possible.' In another deleted video on her Story, Mirsky filmed herself returning to the valet to apologize. After claiming the worker accepted her apology, she told him that 'he knew' what the previous attendant 'did to' her. 'Please at least be real,' she told him, as he was talking to a customer who was parking their car. 'I'm the farthest thing from racist possible. I told you, you're a good-looking guy with green eyes… Can you at least admit what the guy did to me?' On Wednesday (January 29), Mirsky posted another statement to apologize for the viral video, saying she takes 'accountability for the things' said in 'an over-emotional state of mind,' which she understands doesn't excuse 'the racist aggression' toward the parking attendant. 'Racism is never okay and my words were both hurtful and inappropriate,' she wrote on her Instagram Story. 'I apologize to all the hard-working Hispanics in Beverly Hills and also the community that has been hurt by my recent actions. I will work to do better for myself and my community and hope you will forgive me as I meant no harm to anyone.' She concluded: 'Moments leading up to my outburst were triggered by previous trauma and sexual advances made by the gentleman recording the video. However, I realize my reaction to the situation was not handled appropriately.' Mirsky has more than 70,500 followers on Instagram, where she shows off her luxury lifestyle.

L.A based influencer, Florence Mirsky caught using racial slur in heated valet confrontation
Florence Mirsky, the mother of music producer Scott Storch's son, is facing backlash after a video surfaced showing her using a racial slur against valet workers. The footage, which has gone viral, captures the L.A.-based influencer in a heated exchange, making offensive remarks and throwing money at one of the workers. In the clip, Mirsky calls a man a "wet****" before stating, 'President Donald Trump is doing great things because you guys rape and kill people.' Her comments appear to be directed at individuals she assumes are Latino, as she hurls a string of inflammatory insults. During the confrontation, Mirsky also flaunts her wealth, pulling out a $100 bill and throwing it at a valet worker while saying, 'I'm rich, you're poor.' The altercation escalates further as she attempts to swat a phone out of one worker's hands. Following the backlash, Mirsky took to her Instagram Story to explain her behavior. She claimed that one of the men groped her, leading her to lash out due to past trauma and manic episodes. 'People who know me know this isn't the real me,' she insisted. Photo: Instagram/msflojo She also stated she refrained from physically retaliating because of her son, Leo Storch, whom she shares with Scott Storch. Mirsky further defended herself, saying she has been around and dated Mexicans for years, arguing that her comments do not reflect who she truly is. Mirsky and Storch were in a relationship from 2015 to 2018. Storch has yet to comment on the incident.
