Rajasthan's Manika Vishwakarma has been crowned Miss Universe India 2025 and will represent India at the 74th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand later this year. The ceremony held in Jaipur, Rajasthan on August 18, 2025, saw Manika Vishwakarma getting crowned by the outgoing Miss Universe India Rhea Singha. Expressing her gratitude the 22-year-old told ANI, "This feeling is so amazing. The journey has been amazing. I want to thank my mentors, my teachers, my parents, my friends, and my family for everything. I aim to do my best to represent India at its finest and to get the crown home." Hailing from Sri Ganganagar in Rajasthan, Manika Vishwakarma reflected on her journey during her interview. "Rather than struggle, it has been a journey of preparation. My journey began in Ganganagar. I came to Delhi and prepared for the pageant. We need to inculcate self-confidence and courage in ourselves. Everyone had a big role to play, and I thank everyone for treating me so well and, most importantly, nurturing talent."
