Opal Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand was crowned Miss World on Saturday in India, where the international pageant was held this year. Chuangsri topped a field of 108 contestants in the contest held in India's southern Hyderabad city. Hasset Dereje Admassu of Ethiopia was the first runner-up in the competition. Chuangsri received her crown from last year's winner Krystyna Pyszková. The 72nd Miss World beauty pageant was hosted by Miss World 2016 Stephanie del Valle and Indian presenter Sachiin Kumbhar. India hosted the beauty competition last year as well. India's Nandini Gupta exited after making it to the final 20. Six Indian women have won the title, including Reita Faria (1966), Aishwarya Rai (1994), Diana Hayden (1997), Yukta Mookhey (1999), Priyanka Chopra (2000) and Manushi Chillar (2017).

Since the first day I was here, everyone has been so are amazing, they have been so wonderful to me and we went to so many are so it is infrastructure or nature.. it's great to be here and I will definitely be back.' 'I would like to thank the Telangana government and all the people here for providing us with the best accommodation and allowing us to have such a great time in your home,' the Miss World continued. Born on March 20, 2003, in Phuket, Thailand, she was raised in a family hailing from the hospitality industry. Currently, she's studying Political Science at Thammasat University, specialising in International Relations. She's originally from Phuket and is a student of international relations. Global glamour descends for grand finale
HYDERABAD: All roads led to the Hitex Exhibition Centre, where the red carpet awaited. First to arrive was reigning Miss World 2024, Krystyna Pyszkova, followed by the families of the contestants, who walked the carpet with pride, ready to support their loved ones one last time at the finale. Among the early guests was Angola's Salvatore Crisball, Mr World Africa, who expressed his delight at being in Hyderabad and his excitement for the 72nd Miss World. Former Miss World 2016, Stephanie Del Valle, shared similar sentiments, calling it a joy to return.
