CHICAGO is one of the most successful productions ever staged in South Africa and the demand for its return is unwavering, says South African producer Hazel Feldman.
'With iconic Bob Fosse choreography, a sizzling score, seductive costumes and a richly talented South African cast, this production is simply unmissable.'
The musical's irresistible storyline unfolds against the backdrop of a Prohibition‑era nightclub, weaving together murder trials, media frenzy and showbiz scandal.

From its opening gasp to its final applause, CHICAGO delivers a theatrical experience like no other.
Accolades for the show are legendary: six Tony Awards, two Olivier Awards, a Grammy, two BAFTAs, and six Academy Awards, not to mention its title as the longest‑running revival in Broadway history.
Its universal themes of fame, greed, betrayal and redemption have resonated with over 34 million audience members across 38 countries and more than 525 cities, clocking in over 35 000 performances worldwide.
Originally based on a 1926 Chicago Tribune expose by journalist Maurine Dallas Watkins, and reborn in a landmark 1996 Broadway revival (followed by a West End run in 1997), CHICAGO has grown into one of the most enduring musicals of our time.
It has now played for nearly thirty years in New York, making it the second-longest running musical in Broadway history.
