Person in hospital after assault at public pool in Dunedin

One person is in hospital following an assault at a public pool in Dunedin.
Emergency services were called to Moana Pool on Littlebourne Road around 3.15pm.
Police said one person has been arrested and a second person with injuries taken to hospital after reports of a grievous assault.
Cordons are in place and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
A police spokesperson said the public may see an increased police presence while enquiries are ongoing.
Pool staff declined to comment.
RNZ has contacted the Dunedin City Council.
