Mohamed Mandour The General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, through the Administrative and Financial Affairs Sector (Department of Training and Development of Work Methods), organised an introductory training programme on the activities of the League's various sectors for a delegation of diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The programme was held from 25 to 29 May at the headquarters of the General Secretariat. The course was inaugurated by His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed Saleh Al-Ajeri, Assistant Secretary-General and head of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Sector, who stressed the importance of intensifying such training initiatives. The training programme comprised a series of thematic lectures introducing participants to the League's history, institutional mechanisms, and the roles played by the various sectors of the General Secretariat in advancing joint Arab action. It also highlighted the League's efforts concerning the Palestinian cause, its contribution to inter-Arab economic relations, its role in international political affairs, arms control, and Arab-Asian cooperation.
