In a statement to KUNA on Monday, Brigadier Al-Gharib highlighted the need for heightened awareness and caution regarding fire safety, as kitchens are used more frequently during Ramadan. He also recommended installing smoke detectors to provide early warning in case of a fire and cautioned against leaving coal in closed areas, advising proper ventilation to avoid harmful buildup. Brigadier Al-Gharib appealed to the public to immediately call the emergency number, 112, in case of any emergency and to inform domestic workers of these critical safety measures to avoid accidents.
