Martyrs' Foundation launches Eid sacrifice project for families of martyrs in need
Sana'a - Saba: The First Deputy Prime Minister, Allama Mohammed Muftah, inaugurated on Wednesday the Eid sacrifice distribution project implemented by the Martyrs' Foundation, targeting 1,500 of the most impoverished families of martyrs. During the launch, Allama Muftah praised the efforts of the Martyrs' Foundation in executing numerous projects, including the Eid sacrifice initiative for martyrs' families, as part of the Economic Empowerment Project carried out by the foundation. He called on philanthropists and merchants to support the Eid sacrifice project to enable the foundation to reach a larger number of martyrs' and missing persons' families. For his part, Saleh Al-Khawlani, a member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, commended the Martyrs' Foundation's role in serving the families of martyrs, emphasizing that the Yemeni people today live under the blessings of their sacrifices in defending the homeland. He noted that, thanks to the blood of the martyrs, Yemen stands today with greatness alongside their brothers in the Gaza Strip, supporting their just cause. He stressed the importance of continuing such projects and others in various fields, including education and health. In turn, Hassan Jaran, the Executive Director of the Martyrs' Foundation, explained that the Eid sacrifice project targets 1,500 of the most impoverished families of martyrs across various provinces, with a total budget of 200 million Yemeni riyals. He indicated that approximately 85% of the sacrifices will be distributed in-kind, except for four provinces: Lahj, Al-Dhale', Shabwa, and parts of Taiz. Jaran pointed out that this year's project is distinguished by the fact that the sacrifices were purchased from the families of martyrs as part of the Economic Empowerment Project, supported by the Martyrs' Foundation, donors, and merchants. Meeting chaired by Muftah discusses mechanism to develop civil defense performance & enhance readiness
Sana'a - Saba: A meeting chaired by the First Deputy Prime Minister, the esteemed scholar Mohammed Muftah, today discussed mechanisms to develop the Civil Defense Service, enhancing its ability to carry out its vital and humanitarian duties toward society with high efficiency and professionalism. The meeting, attended by Deputy Ministers of Interior, Major General Abdulmajeed Al-Murtada; Transport and Public Works—Head of the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority, Yahya Al-Sayani; Electricity and Water, Adel Bader; Finance, Nasser Al-Hamadani; and Oil and Minerals, Mohammed Al-Najjar, reviewed the challenges facing the service and the ways to overcome them through providing support. The meeting highlighted the importance of the Civil Defense's role in saving lives and protecting public and private property from natural disasters and fires, especially in light of the Israeli aggression against our country. During the meeting, Muftah emphasized the necessity of providing various forms of support to the service, which has proven its importance through its effective response to warnings and reports during heavy rainfall, as well as its role in extinguishing fires, particularly amid the Israeli aggression on Yemen. For his part, the Secretary-General of the Capital, Dr. Hamoud Abbad, praised the level of cooperation between the Capital Secretariat and the Civil Defense Service. He affirmed that the Civil Defense represents a humanitarian and service-oriented front dedicated to citizens' lives and receives significant attention due to the nature of its duties. Meanwhile, the Head of the Civil Defense Service, Major General Ibrahim Al-Muayyad, explained that the service, in coordination with relevant authorities, has prepared comprehensive emergency plans that have contributed to enhancing readiness to face disasters. Sana'a - Saba: An expanded meeting chaired by the First Deputy Prime Minister, Scholar Mohammed Muftah, discussed on Wednesday aspects of coordination among various ministries and government agencies to complete the implementation of the emergency plan. The meeting, attended by the Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Local Development Affairs, Mohammed Al-Madani; the Ministers of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Qahim; Economy, Industry, and Investment, Engineer Muin Al-Maqari; Oil and Minerals, Dr. Abdullah Al-Amir; Electricity, Energy, and Water, Dr. Ali Saif; the Deputy Minister of Health and Environment, Dr. Nasher Al-Qaoud; the Technical Affairs Undersecretary of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Taha Zabbara; and several concerned officials, reviewed the progress of the emergency plan's implementation and the achievements made in this regard. During the meeting, the First Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of proceeding with the plan's implementation to address any emergencies through coordination and cooperation among all relevant parties, ensuring a swift response to carry out any required tasks. He noted that the emergency plan, adopted by all state institutions, is essential given the aggression, blockade, and targeting of Yemeni people's resources that the nation is facing. The meeting stressed the importance of integrating roles among all concerned parties and mobilizing all available resources to ensure full readiness for executing any emergency tasks. Scholar Muftah inspects preparations for National Program to care for Homeless in Capital Secretariat
Sana'a - Saba: The First Deputy Prime Minister, Scholar Mohammed Muftah, inspected the progress of preparations for the National Program for the Care and Shelter of the Homeless ("Unaccompanied Mentally Ill Persons") at the main "Al-Ihsan" Center in the Capital Secretariat. During the visit, accompanied by the Chairman of the General Zakat Authority, Sheikh Shamsan Abu Nashtan, the Executive Director of the National Program for the Care and Shelter of the Homeless, Ali Al-Razami, provided an explanation of the work carried out to equip "Al-Ihsan" Center, including medical, logistical, shelter, and therapeutic facilities. Scholar Muftah and Abu Nashtan, along with officials from the Ministries of Social Affairs and Labor and Communications, reviewed the procedures followed in collecting the homeless from the streets of the Capital Secretariat, receiving them at the Al-Ihsan Center, the medical and shelter services provided to them. The First Deputy Prime Minister praised the efforts of the National Program for the Care of the Homeless, as well as the support of the Zakat Authority and the Ministries of Communications and Health, in preparing and operating the main "Al-Ihsan" Center as the first cornerstone of humanitarian work, which the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badruddin Al-Houthi, gives special attention. He emphasized working according to specific plans, priorities, and objective criteria in collecting the homeless from the streets. The primary criterion targets those whose actions may pose a risk to passersby—especially children and women—or property. The second criterion includes those who have lost the ability to maintain minimal personal hygiene standards, as well as the disabled, those unable to secure their basic food , drink needs, and the elderly. Allama Muftah & Al-Saadi launch summer courses in Sana'a
Sana'a - Saba: First Deputy Prime Minister Allama Mohammed Muftah and Minister of Education and Scientific Research Hassan Al-Saadi inaugurated on Sunday the activities and summer courses in Sana'a province for the year 1446 AH, under the title "Science and Jihad". At the inauguration at the Imam Zaid Center in the new Sana'a district, Allama Muftah stressed the importance of implementing the courses to provide young people with useful sciences, especially the memorization of the Holy Qur'an , familiarity with its sciences, to protect them from false ideas and soft warfare. He urged parents to push their children to enroll in summer courses to immunize them from false cultures, false doctrines , destructive invitations, and to use the summer vacation to their advantage. Minister Al-Saadi pointed out that students need care and attention during the more than three months of vacation, especially in light of this great onslaught in the moral, misleading and soft war aspects. The first deputy governor, Hamid Asim, explained that the summer sessions are an educational, and awareness-raising station to protect children from soft warfare and misguided cultures, and to fortify them with Qur'anic education and faith-based identity.
