Jordan Condemns Systematic Israeli Targeting of Journalists Covering the Aggression on Gaza - Jordan News
Jordan Condemns Systematic Israeli Targeting of Journalists Covering the Aggression on Gaza The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned the systematic Israeli targeting of journalists covering the aggressive war on the Gaza Strip, the latest of which was the targeting of Al Jazeera correspondents Anas Al-Sharif and Mohammed Qreiqa, along with photographers Ibrahim Al-Zaher and Mohammed Noufal, which resulted in their deaths. اضافة اعلان The Ministry's spokesperson, Ambassador Dr. Sufyan Qudah, affirmed the Kingdom's rejection and condemnation of targeting journalists, considering it a war crime that requires holding the perpetrators accountable. He stressed that such crimes against media professionals constitute a blatant violation of international law, international humanitarian law, and the 1949 Geneva Convention on the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War. Qudah renewed the call for the international community to shoulder its legal and moral responsibilities, to immediately halt the Israeli aggression, to provide international protection for journalists, medical staff, and humanitarian organizations working in Gaza, to fulfill the Palestinian people's legitimate rights to establish their independent state on their national soil, and to stop crimes against them and hold the perpetrators accountable. —(Petra)

Tripoli journalists' union condemns killing of Al Jazeera crew in Gaza
The Journalists' Syndicate in Tripoli and western Libya has strongly condemned what it called a 'massacre' carried out by the occupying Israeli forces on Sunday evening, which killed five members of Al Jazeera's crew in Gaza, including journalists Anas Al-Sharif and Mohammed Qreiqa. In a statement issued late Sunday, the syndicate expressed full solidarity with journalists working in Gaza, who it said are being deliberately targeted and assassinated in an attempt to suppress information and erase evidence of 'atrocities, genocide, and starvation' being inflicted on the Palestinian people, particularly in the besieged enclave. Observers say the killing of Al-Sharif, Qreiqa and their colleagues reflects an apparent intention by Israel to eliminate journalists in Gaza City ahead of a planned military takeover. The Israeli government reportedly approved a phased plan to seize full control of the territory last Friday. News Tagged: Gaza Journalists Press Freedom Media Under Attack Human Rights war crimes

Al Jazeera Condemns Assassination of Its Reporters Anas Al-Sharif & Mohammed Qreiqa in Gaza
Gaza - Saba: Al Jazeera Media Network has condemned the deliberate assassination of its reporters in Gaza, Anas Al-Sharif and Mohammed Qreiqa, along with cameramen Ibrahim Zaher and Mohammed Noufal, in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the vicinity of Al-Shifa Hospital in western Gaza. In a statement issued on Monday, Al Jazeera described the attack as a blatant and intentional assault on press freedom. The network stated that the strike on its journalists came amid a catastrophic humanitarian crisis caused by the ongoing Israeli aggression, which has resulted in mass killings. It added that the killing of Anas Al-Sharif — one of Gaza's bravest journalists — and his colleagues was a desperate attempt to silence voices ahead of a potential occupation of Gaza. Al Jazeera pointed out that several Israeli military officials had repeatedly incited violence and called for targeting Anas Al-Sharif and his team. While mourning the loss of some of its finest journalists, the network held the Israeli army and government fully responsible for the targeting and assassination of its crew. Al Jazeera emphasized that Anas Al-Sharif and his colleagues were among the last remaining voices in Gaza, continuing to convey the tragic reality to the world. Throughout the siege, its journalists lived through the same hunger and suffering they documented. The network stressed that its reporters had delivered continuous, courageous coverage, bearing witness to the horrific atrocities committed during the war. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print

IOF Continues Genocidal Crimes in Gaza with More Civilians Killed
DaysofPal- The Israeli genocidal war against the Gaza Strip has entered its 675th day. The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) assassinated the entire Al Jazeera news crew in Gaza City Sunday evening after bombing a journalists' tent near Al-Shifa Hospital in the west of the city. The hospital director confirmed the deaths of correspondents Anas Al-Sharif and Mohammed Qreiqa, photojournalists Ibrahim Zaher and Mo'men Alouia, along with their driver Mohammed Noufal. Medical sources confirmed that the strike killed seven people in total, including five journalists. They left several others with moderate to critical injuries, marking ongoing massacres, destruction, forced displacement, and starvation of the Palestinian population. Tens of thousands have been killed or wounded, with thousands more missing, trapped under rubble, buried in anonymous mass graves, or held in Israeli prisons under the policy of 'forced disappearance' following abductions during the ground invasion. Israeli genocide persisted through the night and into the early hours of today, with Israeli warplanes bombing a residential home in Al-Gharbi Camp in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, killing seven people and injuring others. Among the victims was Musab Abu Harbeed, his wife, and their child, who were killed when the occupation forces shelled a displaced persons' tent on Al-Labbabidi Street in Gaza City. Meanwhile, Israeli naval vessels shelled western parts of Nuseirat Camp in central Gaza, where the Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes on Yaffa Street in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City, while artillery units continued targeting the city's eastern areas. Additionally, heavy machine-gun fire was directed at the Al-Amal neighborhood in northern Khan Younis. These assaults compound the severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where more than two million Palestinians face dire shortages of food, water, and medical supplies due to the ongoing siege. International humanitarian organizations have warned repeatedly about the catastrophic consequences of continued military aggression on civilians, particularly children, women, and the elderly. As the Israeli occupation intensifies its campaign of collective punishment and ethnic cleansing threats, calls grow louder from global actors demanding an immediate cessation of hostilities and protection for journalists and civilians alike, amid fears of worsening genocide in the besieged enclave.
