Evaluation committee visits to assess programme quality Yesterday evening, the club welcomed a delegation from the Sharjah Sports Council's Summer Program Evaluation Committee. This visit was part of ongoing field assessments to monitor implementation, evaluate quality, and ensure the program's goals are being met. The committee toured the club's facilities, observed workshops and activities, and reviewed the organizational approach and participant engagement. Members praised the comprehensive nature of the program and its contribution to skill-building and youth development. A day full of engaging events and distinguished guests The day was packed with activities under the theme "I Am the Future." The events were attended by Mr. Mohammed Ali Al-Dhahouri, Chairman of the Cultural and Community Activities Committee, along with various supervisors and volunteers. Active participation from club members marked the day's success. 'Learn and Win' workshop returns with interactive English learning A highlight of the day was the return of the 'Learn and Win' workshop, conducted in collaboration with the Five One Talk media platform. This innovative session used a fun, game-based approach to teach English. Competitions and incentive-based rewards kept participants engaged while enhancing their language skills. Marine activities build practical skills and safety awareness The Sharjah International Marine Sports Club continued its contribution to the summer program, offering sessions in marine rescue and sailing basics. These hands-on experiences blended education with enjoyment, fostering maritime knowledge and a strong sense of safety among the youth. Indoor gym hosts sports, mental challenges, and more The club's indoor gym was buzzing with a mix of physical and mental activities. Participants enjoyed football, handball, karate, and mental intelligence games that tested analytical thinking, focus, and team spirit. Dibba Al Hisn Club unveils details of 2025 summer programme
The event was attended by Ahmed Abdullah Al Qusib Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Organising Committee, Mohammed Rashid Rashoud, Committee Member, as well as several employees, administrators, members of the organising committee, and partners. A Vision Aligned with Sharjah's Leadership The conference comes in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to safeguard and develop youth during the summer months. The initiative is sponsored by the Sharjah Sports Council and falls within the goals and direction of the Board of Directors of Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club. A Programme to Empower and Inspire Youth During the press conference, Ahmed Abdullah Al Qusib Al Naqbi stated that the summer programme is part of the Sharjah Sports Council's initiatives aimed at utilising the free time of youth and children during the summer break, while fostering creativity, national identity, and sportsmanship in a safe and motivating environment. He added that the programme offers a rich array of sports, cultural, social, and skill-based activities, carefully designed to meet participants' aspirations and contribute to building a generation that is healthy, aware, and responsible. Early Preparation for a Complete and Enjoyable Experience Al Naqbi also noted that preparations for this season began early to ensure a well-rounded and enjoyable summer experience, with a focus on providing an attractive environment that aligns with the club's vision of enhancing the quality of life for children and youth. A Unique Edition Backed by Strong Support For his part, Mohammed Rashid Rashoud emphasised that this year's edition of 'Our Holiday is Different' will be distinctive in the variety and quality of its activities, thanks to the strong support from the Sharjah Sports Council, the strategic vision of Dr Mohammed Ahmed Al Mutawa, Chairman of the Club's Board of Directors, and fruitful collaboration with community and educational institutions in Dibba Al Hisn. He pointed out that the latest tools and methods have been employed in supervision and organization to ensure the programme's success and deliver maximum benefit to participants. Programme Details and Community Partnerships Highlighted The conference also included a detailed presentation of the programme's schedule, registration procedures, and daily activity plans. Special attention was given to community partnerships that contribute to the sustainability of the program's positive impact.
