Tanay triumph at EEIPC International Indoor Skydiving Championship

The Russian team Tanay were crowned champions at the EEIPC 2025 International Indoor Skydiving Championship held at CLYMB, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
The championship witnessed intense competition among the participating world-class teams, as the Tanay 8 way team managed to achieve a perfect score in three out of ten rounds, topping the overall standings with a score of 224 points and a record average of 22.40 points.
The five-day event concluded at the world's biggest indoor skydiving flight chamber.
The award ceremony was held at Yas Marina Circuit's Ferrari venue, which was attended by Yousif Hassan Al Hammadi, Vice President of the Emirates Aerosports Federation, Mohammed Yousif Abdulrahman, Secretary-General of the federation, Hussein Mohammed Al Hosani, Deputy General Manager of CLYMB Yas Island, Andrey Shulovsky, chairman of the championship's Organizing Committee, and delegations from participating countries.
They all enjoyed the spectacular performances delivered by the world's best skydivers inside the impressive and record-breaking wind tunnel.
Team Tanay dominated the competition, earning the gold medal and excelling in both the 8-way and 16-way formation events.
In the 16-way formation, they scored 141 points with an average of 17.63 points, achieving a significant lead over second-place team Kazakhstan's Nomads, who scored 110 points with a 13.75-point average.
From January 20 to 24, the event gathered 200 of the world's top indoor skydivers from over 20 countries as they vied for five thrilling days of gravity-defying action, breathtaking formations and jaw-dropping displays of aerial artistry.
It was under the umbrella of the Emirates Aerosports Federation, further cementing the UAE's position as a global hub for hosting international sports events.
