Eden Prairie officer participates in Somali Independence Day celebration
Eden Prairie Police Officer Mohamoud Ibrahim represented the Eden Prairie Police Department at a Somali Independence Day celebration in Minneapolis, June 30.
'More than 40,000 people attended the event, many of whom stopped by Officer Ibrahim's squad car to take pictures and climb around,' the Eden Prairie Police Department's blog said.
'In addition to talking with Eden Prairie residents who attended the event, Officer Ibrahim had the opportunity to talk with Somali youth who are interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement.'
