Al-Mandlawi Calls for Eid to Be a Platform for Promoting Values of Love and Tolerance
Baghdad-INA First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Mohsen Al-Mandlawi congratulated Iraqis and the Arab and Islamic nations on Sunday on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, calling for the holiday to be a platform for promoting the values of love and tolerance. Al-Mandlawi's media office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, we extend our warmest congratulations and blessings to our dear Iraqi people and to the entire Arab and Islamic nation, praying to God Almighty to bring it back to everyone with goodness, blessings, and prosperity, and to make this occasion a platform for promoting the values of love, tolerance, and brotherhood, and for consolidating the spirit of solidarity and mutual support among the people of the Islamic nation everywhere." Al-Mandlawi stressed, according to the statement, that "in these blessed days, we affirm the necessity of unifying our voices and closing ranks among Islamic countries and peoples to confront the challenges and injustice facing our nation, foremost among which is the suffering of our peoples in Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, and Syria from the ongoing attacks by the usurping entity. This requires a unified Islamic stance that lives up to these sacrifices." The statement concluded with a prayer for "the preservation of Iraq and its people, for security and stability to prevail throughout our country and all Muslim countries, and for mercy on our righteous martyrs and their repose in His spacious paradise."

Al-Mandlawi calls to support the reconstruction of Gaza and Lebanon
Baghdad - INA The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandlawi, called today, Wednesday, for urgent international action to support the reconstruction of Gaza and Lebanon. The media office of Al-Mandlawi stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandlawi, received the political advisor at the US Embassy in Iraq, Michel Siders, to discuss the current local and regional situations, in addition to the developments in the scene in Gaza and Lebanon." According to the statement, Al-Mandlawi stressed "the importance of supporting Iraq in strategic files," noting that "this support contributes to strengthening political and economic stability in the country," noting "the need to strengthen bilateral relations between Iraq and the United States, and expand joint cooperation in various fields to serve the interests of the two countries." Al-Mandlawi called for "urgent international action to support the efforts to rebuild the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, stressing the importance of accelerating the entry of humanitarian aid to those affected," stressing "the need for all parties to adhere to the terms of the ceasefire agreement, and not to allow violations." He stressed that "Iraq's position is firm in supporting the rights of the Palestinian people to self-determination, and rejecting any violation that threatens the security and sovereignty of the countries of the region."

Al-Mandlawi: The Property Restitution Law has done justice to a large segment of Iraqis
The First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandlawi, confirmed today, Monday, that the Property Restitution Law has done justice to a large segment of Iraqis. A statement from Al-Mandlawi's office, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandlawi, received a number of sheikhs and dignitaries of Khanaqin District in Diyala Governorate, to learn about the conditions of the people of the district, and listen to their needs and concerns in order to overcome them with the concerned authorities." The statement added that "during the meeting, Al-Mandlawi was honored by the sheikhs and dignitaries of Khanaqin, in appreciation of his role in approving the law to return state properties to their owners covered by some decisions of the dissolved Revolutionary Command Council." Al-Mandlawi stressed, according to the statement, that "the Council of Representatives was keen to legislate the law to do justice to a large segment of the Iraqi people, and that it will follow up with the concerned authorities to implement the paragraphs related to restoring the rights that the former regime had taken away as a result of its arbitrary decisions to their rightful owners."
