A MAN has revealed that his husband's ex still lives in the family home, and still wears his wedding ring. However, the trio then decided to buy a larger house, with Tom living in the pool house out the back. However, there has been some tension within the trio, as Tom refuses to take off his wedding ring, despite being divorced from Mark. Tom is still going to be involved in parenting the new baby, despite the fact he won't be biologically related to them. "I'm excited about Tom being a third dad to the new baby", Mark said. Surrogate Ashley, who is the kids' biological mum, is also now heavily involved in Beau and Coy's life, adding another parent to the mix. Moke's family members, such as his cousin Christa, were at first concerned by the family dynamic. Hackers are increasingly targeting Malaysia 's growing automotive sector cybersecurity experts have warned in a new report that raises alarm over gaps in threat detection, including potential data theft via phones hooked to vehicular digital dashboards. A key automotive manufacturing hub in Southeast Asia, Malaysia has attracted around 26 billion ringgit (US$6.15 billion) in electric vehicle investments since 2018 from global marquee names including Tesla, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, BMW, Porsche, Audi, Stellantis and Dongfeng. But the industry's rapid shift towards software-dependent vehicles is creating new vulnerabilities ripe for exploitation by malicious actors, according to Singapore-based Ensign Infosecurity's 2025 report on the cyber threat landscape in Asia-Pacific? 'Malaysia's extensive network of automotive suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers further exposes organisations to vulnerabilities in the cyber supply chain,' Jeremy Moke, senior director of Ensign Infosecurity Malaysia, told This Week in Asia. One vulnerability involves attackers intercepting sensitive data from mobile devices connected to a compromised vehicle's infotainment systems through widely used platforms such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, according to Moke. 'The automotive and mobility sector is an emerging target sector in Malaysia,' Moke said. 'The proliferation of modern vehicles integrating complex computing, software, and the supporting infrastructure creates new points of vulnerability.' Ensign's report puts the automotive sector behind the public sector, telcos, hospitality and banks in the ranking of industries most vulnerable to cyberattacks.

PETALING JAYA: Ensign InfoSecurity (Ensign), Asia's largest pure-play cybersecurity services provider, released its sixth Cyber Threat Landscape Report (CTLR), revealing a thriving underground cyberthreat economy and growing supply chain vulnerabilities across Asia-Pacific. In Malaysia, the report observed a rise in hacktivist activity, with these ideologically motivated threat actors growing in scale and sophistication within a mature, underground cyberthreat economy. In short, threat actors are joining forces with other hacktivists and even organised crime groups to grow their capabilities and fund larger campaigns. This report is based on insights drawn from Ensign's proprietary telemetry and intelligence gathered across Asia Pacific in 2024, including Malaysia. It provides a comprehensive view of the evolving landscape, including newly observed alliances between threat actors. 'The evolving posture of hacktivism signals a shift from purely ideological motivations to campaigns driven by financial incentives. The cyber underground today fosters both competition and collaboration, enhancing the effectiveness and success rates of cyber-attacks,' Ensign InfoSecurity Malaysia senior director Jeremy Moke said. These alliances, he added combined with widening supply chain vulnerabilities, have made threat groups like hacktivists more capable, persistent, and difficult to dislodge. The automotive & mobility sector is an emerging target sector in Malaysia. The proliferation of modern vehicles integrating complex computing, software, and the supporting infrastructure creates new points of vulnerability. Besides, its extensive network of suppliers, manufacturers and service providers further exposes organisations to vulnerabilities in its cyber supply chain. 'Meanwhile, the hospitality sector is a target for surveillance-related activities involving Politically Exposed Persons at international conferences and meetings in-country. 'Ongoing target sectors, meanwhile, include banking, financial & insurance; defence & law enforcement; energy & utilities; technology, media & telecommunications; and the public sector. This diversification signals a shift in attacker strategy, with threat groups expanding their focus to industries that manage sensitive data or offer access to wider ecosystems. The report also highlights a significant shift in cyberattack outcomes, with data breaches (41.1%) and denial-of-service attacks (30.1%), surpassing ransomware attacks – which had been the leading outcome in 2023. 'As threat actors evolve, so must our understanding of where the risks lie,' Moke said, adding that their latest findings in Malaysia reinforce the reality that no sector is immune to cyberthreats. 'Threat groups are becoming more strategic – bypassing traditional defences by exploiting trust, vendor relationships, and weak access points within systems. 'Organisations can no longer assume that their defences are adequate. They must continuously adapt, validate their security measures, and address vulnerabilities to ensure their cyber posture is aligned with today's threat landscape. 'At Ensign, we are committed to supporting organisations in building stronger, more resilient defences,' he said. Ensign InfoSecurity revealed that the cyberthreat underground economy has evolved into a mature and highly collaborative economy. Threat actors including ransomware groups, Initial Access Brokers, and hacktivists work in tandem; each specialises in a piece of an attack while pursuing multiple income streams and there has been an increased sophistication in supply chain compromises, where hardware, software, and service providers are specifically targeted to gain stealthy access to organisations. Compared to 2023, incident-response dwell time (the duration attackers remain undetected within networks) has risen significantly across industries. Across Asia Pacific, the maximum dwell quadrupled from 49 to 201 days, while the minimum dwell more than doubled to seven days. This signals that cyber criminals had a much wider window to steal data, move across networks, and cause damage.

Jaunt's electric Moke conversion, which is now available for customer commission ahead of delivery in 2026, is priced from $140,000 – excluding the cost of the donor vehicle. Australian-developed electric Mini Moke now available

Australians can now buy a street-legal, all-electric Mini Moke, courtesy of Melbourne-based electric vehicle (EV) conversion company Jaunt Motors, but you'll have to pay handsomely for it. Jaunt's electric Moke conversion, which is now available for customer commission ahead of delivery in 2026, is priced from $140,000 – excluding the cost of the donor vehicle. The EV converter is also offering its new Moke EV conversion platform to independent workshops around Australia, including installation training and instruction, with trade prices starting at $90,000. Separately, Moke International is offering an electric Moke for the equivalent of about $69,500 including taxes, delivery and first registration fees in the UK, and has received approval to sell 1500 Mokes in the EU under that market's ultra-low volume vehicle regulations, as well as approval to sell 325 cars in the US this year. The company hopes it can make a similar case for ultra-low volume imports to Australia, where a significant proportion of customers are also expected to be high-end resorts that want to offer customers Moke EVs for complimentary use, short-term rental or as shuttle vehicles. However, Moke International's EV is yet to be confirmed for Australia while Jaunt says every component installed in its electric Moke is CAD designed and engineered to meet Australian Design Rules and local conditions, meaning its vehicles can be registered in every state and territory – a process it will complete before the car is delivered to you. Better known for creating battery-electric versions of the original Land Rover Defender as well as classic Mini Coopers and Porsche 911s, Jaunt also says it plans to extend its conversion platforms to other classic models such as the original Range Rover and Volkswagen Kombi, 'making iconic vehicles more accessible, sustainable and engineered in a world moving toward zero-emissions'. Based in Scoresby, Victoria, Jaunt specialises in converting classic and specialty vehicles to electric power with a focus on safety, compliance and craftsmanship, and says its engineered electric platforms and conversions 'preserve the charm of iconic cars while making them safer, cleaner and better to drive'. Jaunt's Moke EV is powered by a single front-mounted electric motor producing 72kW of power and 175Nm of torque, fed by a 19kWh battery pack that's mounted under the tub and takes between just two and three hours to recharge thanks to a 400-volt electrical architecture. Those numbers aren't big in a world of high-performance EVs, but Jaunt says its Moke can accelerate from 0-100km/h in just seven seconds – 'even uphill' – in sport mode, while a regenerative braking system turns the motor into a generator to assist the mechanical brakes. Jaunt's electric upgrade retains the original Moke's low kerb weight, allowing it to be a four-seater without exceeding GVM, as well as its compact dimensions and nimble dynamics. However, it isn't being pitched as a high-performance EV, but one that's 'ready for exactly what it was originally designed for: short, joyful, open-air drives'. That said, a polished stainless steel-bodied version Jaunt built from the ground up and featuring LED lighting and CNC-machined badges is claimed to be lighter than the original Moke, while offering a better torque-to-weight ratio than a Tesla Model 3 Performance. In addition to the EV conversion and a 7.8:1 single gear ratio to suit larger 13-inch wheels, the retail version supplied directly to customers comes with upgraded brake, steering and suspension systems, plus ADR-compliant seats with seatbelts mounted to a new roll bar system covered by a custom canvas top. Based around a new BMH front sub-frame, the EV system bolts to existing mounting points under the bonnet and comprises the battery, electric motor and inverter, plus driveshafts, a motor cooling system, bi-directional charger and a completely new integrated 12-volt electrical system. It also comes with a new centre dash panel complete with modern digital gauges and controls, an electric parking brake, pop-up charge port and all of the necessary body block-out panels. Braking, steering and suspension systems can be further customised to meet customer needs, and additional custom parts are also available.
