SSEF organises "Prophet's Neighbors Endowment" in Kalba
This tour comes as part of the Foundation's commitment to spreading community awareness of its humanitarian mission and building bridges of cooperation with local institutions across the emirate. The strategic plan seeks to expand its impact and reach the largest possible number of community members. Commitment to society Mona Bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation, stated, 'At the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation, we strive to be close to all members of society in the various regions of the emirate. This first tour to the city of Kalba in the Eastern Region represents an important step in conveying our humanitarian message and strengthening partnerships with key stakeholders.' Importance of partnerships She expressed gratitude to the Roads and Transport Authority for its support and constructive cooperation, emphasizing the significance of attracting local communities to participate and expanding invitations to the emirate's citizens. Al Suwaidi highlighted that these visits are crucial for informing individuals about the Foundation's projects and its role in serving community members. Engaging the community Al Suwaidi further noted, 'We are keen to hold such introductory tours that inform the community about the nature of our work and our goals in achieving empowerment for those who have lost their fathers. It also opens the door for them to contribute to creating a sustainable impact.' He highlighted the Authority's commitment to consolidating social solidarity values and supporting orphans through sustainable endowment projects. The "Prophet's Neighbors" initiative The Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation launched the "Prophet's Neighbors" endowment project, which consists of establishing a series of endowment real estate facilities. Tamkeen organises 'Prophet's Neighbours' Endowment tour to SRTA
The tour aimed to highlight the project, explain the contribution mechanism, and its role in supporting and empowering orphans. During the visit, the Foundation's team provided a detailed explanation of the project's concept, its noble goals, and its humanitarian vision, which is based on the principle of sponsoring orphans, empowering them, and securing their future through a sustainable endowment whose proceeds benefit the Foundation's members. SRTA employees contribution The various ways in which SRTA employees can contribute to this endowment were explained, whether through direct bank transfers, contributing to available monthly deductions, or purchasing endowment certificates for the project in various amounts suitable for different categories. Additionally, they can easily donate electronically via the "Neighbours of the Prophet" platform, which was developed specifically for this purpose. Contributing to a sustainable charitable effort Mona Bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Foundation, emphasised that the 'Prophet's Neighbours' Endowment Project represents a great opportunity for community members to contribute to a sustainable charitable effort that consolidates the concept of ongoing charity and achieves a long-term impact on the lives of orphans, in line with the prophetic directives that urge the sponsorship of orphans. This humanitarian project has also received the attention of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah who was at the forefront of its supporters and invited community members to compete in this great endeavour, which is considered an ongoing charity that benefits both the donor and the beneficiary. Raising awareness of the culture of endowment Al Suwaidi added that through these introductory tours, the Foundation seeks to enhance awareness of the culture of endowments and its vital role in supporting the Foundation's projects and to expand the base of supporters for its endowment project, which is a key tributary in achieving the sustainability of its services to its members. Al Suwaidi expressed the foundation appreciation for SRTA reception and their positive interaction, which reflects their commitment to social responsibility. Jameela Al Qasimi shares iftar with SSEF orphans and employees
The iftar comes as part of the Foundation's efforts to strengthen social ties between Her Excellency Sheikha Jameela Al Qasimi, orphans, and the Foundation's staff, and to bring joy to the hearts of members during the holy month of Ramadan. The Iftar meal was filled with an atmosphere of brotherhood and direct communication among the contributed to creating a warm environment that fostered a sense of belonging and support. Orphans are essential part of the fabric of society On this occasion, Sheikha Jameela Al Qasimi stated: 'I was pleased to meet my orphaned children during these blessed days of the holy month. We affirm that they are an essential part of the fabric of our society, and our role is to support and care for them with all love and care. Empowering them is not an option. Rather, it is a duty that guarantees them a dignified life and a bright future. Hence, the importance of our role as individuals and institutions in providing them with the necessary support, not only through financial aid, but also by giving them a sense of security and belonging. Sheikha Jameela Al Qasimi confirmed 'a cohesive society is a society capable of advancing all its children without exception. The group breakfast is not just an occasion to eat, but rather an opportunity to exchange positive feelings. We are committed to ensuring that every orphan feels surrounded by a large family that embraces and supports them throughout their journey. Seeing the smiles on their faces is our greatest achievement." The Iftar programme included distributing Eid gifts to the children, in a noble step that reflects her happiness in making the children happy, bringing joy and happiness to their hearts, and reinforcing the values of happiness and joy. Group iftars are part of a series of Ramadan activities organised by the Foundation as part of the "Iftarhom" project, one of the most prominent projects of the "Zakk" Ramadan campaign, to support and empower families and improve their quality of life.
