Man arrested after MDMA tablets worth €235,000 seized in Monaghan
MDMA tablets worth €235,000 have been seized in Co Monaghan.
The ecstasy tablets were recovered from a residential property in Monaghan following a search earlier today.
A man in his 20s was arrested at the scene and is currently being detained at a station in the northwest of the country.
The drugs seized will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
The operation was carried out by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, Monaghan Divisional Drugs Unit and Revenue officers.
