RingSide Steakhouse reveals reopening date after months-long closure

PORTLAND, Ore. () — Following a , RingSide Steakhouse is nearly back in business. The restaurant on 2165 W Burnside St. has announced it will reopen its doors to the public on Monday, Aug. 4 from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. A blaze that spread through the kitchen in April forced the steakhouse to temporarily close for repairs and restoration. Travel + Leisure names Oregon wine region 'most underrated' of the West Coast According to a statement, the post-fire damage caused RingSide to update some 'behind the scenes' aspects of the business — but 'everything guests know and love' has been preserved. 'Guests will find the experience largely unchanged, just as warm, familiar, and timeless as ever,' the steakhouse said. 'The Peterson family made it a priority to maintain the spirit, look, and experience that generations of Portlanders have come to treasure.' In honor of its return, the restaurant is offering its beloved three-course Monday Prime Rib Special featuring mixed green salad, prime rib with horseradish and Yorkshire pudding, and crème brûlée for $57. In addition, RingSide's popular French-fried onion rings will remain on the menu. The steakhouse is also offering new fishes like miso-glazed octopus, hamachi crudo and pan-seared glory bay salmon.
