Prince Albert, 67, and Princess Charlene of Monaco, 47, have their work cut out for them as the parents of 10-year-old twins, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella. The royal kids, who recently reached a major milestone, were one of the topics discussed by their parents during a new interview with Monaco's Royal Family. During a press conference at the Prince's Palace of Monaco to commemorate 20 years on the throne, Prince Albert answered a question from La Gazette de Monaco regarding his proudest achievements to date. "What I am most proud of is my marriage and my children, first and foremost," Albert explained (via Tatler). Princess Charlene was present for the press conference, and said of their twins (via Hello! magazine), "The children also help me stay young. It's hard to keep them under control." During the event, Prince Albert also noted that the important anniversary would be "a moment of great conviviality with the Monegasques and my family, and an opportunity to express our affection and friendship to the Monegasques and to thank them," (via Hello! magazine). An Instagram post recently revealed that Jacques and Gabriella had passed a huge milestone. "On this day of First Communion, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella who received this sacrament with faith and reverence," the caption explained. This isn't the first time Princess Charlene has opened up about her children. In November 2024, she told Gala magazine, "Gabriella is very curious." Charlene continued, "She is very intrigued by the world and life in general. She asks lots of questions and demands a lot of attention." Opening up about her son, Charlene said, "As for Jacques, he is curious and observant. [He is] more reserved, he is naturally very calm." Charlene—a former Olympic swimmer—was also candid about aging and how her body has changed over the years. "I walk, I cycle, I swim too, but not as much as before," she told the outlet. "I don't practise swimming as intensely as in the past. When I was young, I trained very hard, I challenged myself physically. These days, it's all about moderation."

Man Utd and Man City dealt blow as £59m star makes surprising claim on future

Monaco star Maghnes Akliouche was asked about his future amid interest from Manchester City, Manchester United and PSG and offered a surprising response ahead of the summer Maghnes Akliouche could remain at Monaco despite interest from both Manchester City and Manchester United this summer. The 23-year-old has revealed he hopes to stay with the Monegasques for next season in a blow to the Premier League clubs. Akliouche has drawn interest after bagging five goals and providing 10 assists in Ligue 1 this season, in addition to two goals and two assists in the Champions League. The winger has helped Monaco's bid to qualify for Europe's top competition once again, cementing at leat a third-placed finish domestically. ‌ The Frenchman was the subject of interest from Paris Saint-Germain, as well as City, almost 12 months ago but chose to sign a contract extension instead, committing to the club until 2028. The duo are said to retain their interest with United now also impressed by the player. ‌ But Akliouche appears content in Monaco and plans to stay at the club beyond the summer. The attacker is thought to be available for €70million (£57m) however. 'I am under contract at Monaco and I hope that I will be here next season, why not?,' he said. Monaco CEO Thiago Scuro was adamant potential suitors would not have an easy time prising away the star. Speaking to Téléfoot earlier this year, he appeared set to drive a hard bargain. "It is logical that clubs are interested in him. He is a Monaco player and it won't be easy to take him out of here," he said. Manager Adi Hütter has conceded the possibility of losing Akliouche however. The Austrian head coach conceded it is the philosophy of the club to capitalise upon their talent and he is excited for where his charge's career could lead. ‌ 'I am encouraged to see where he (Akliouche) can go. For me, we don't know what happens. If we lose him in the summer, we lose him in the summer,' he said last month. " This is also the club's strategy to bring in young talents from its own academy to the first team an then at one point to sell them – this is the club's plan and it is a good one! This is the process as a coach. I want to follow (Akliouche). This is the history of the club and I like it!' City and United will both look to strengthen their squads in the summer following disappointing seasons. Pep Guardiola's side look set to qualify for the Champions League but have been noticeably absent from the title race. Ruben Amorim meanwhile will oversee his first summer in charge. A disastrous Premier League campaign has seen United's only chance of qualifying for Europe come by finding Europa League success if they defeat Tottenham.

Lewis Hamilton's early season struggles at Ferrari are NOT a surprise, insists Formula One star who was replaced at the Scuderia by the British driver

Formula One star Carlos Sainz, who was replaced by Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari, is not surprised by the British driver's early season struggles. The Spaniard has similarly failed to replicate his performances of last season with new team Williams after being forced to make way for the seven-time world champion. It is often a common trend in the sport and has only been exacerbated in 2025, with the current generation of cars, in a cost-cap era with limited practice times, creating the perfect storm for tepid early displays. At the Scuderia, Hamilton has found it difficult to match the performances of Charles Leclerc, who has been with the side for six seasons. Sainz, who partnered the Monegasques star for four of those campaign, understands Hamilton's issues and likened them to his own at Williams when compared to the long-tenured Alex Albon. 'I'm not surprised at all,' he said ahead of the start of the Miami Grand Prix weekend. 'I think, for me, I expected it for myself and I expected it with him – because in this sport, there are no secrets. 'When you are up against two teammates like we are like Alex [Albon] and Charles, they know the team inside out. 'They are already performing at the maximum that that car can perform. So you can only do just a little bit better or the same as them. You cannot suddenly arrive and be two to three-tenths quicker, because it's not possible. They are already at the limit of the car. 'So, when you jump to a new team and you're expected, by yourself and by everyone around you to be at that level, you know it's gonna take time. But, for some drivers, it might take longer or shorter. Lewis had an amazing weekend in China, then he seemed to be having a bit more trouble now, but it's gonna take time for both.' The peak of Hamilton's early career at Ferrari came at the Chinese GP last month when he claimed victory in the sprint race. However, the success was short-lived as he finished behind Leclerc in the main event. The British veteran has been outqualified by Leclerc in four of the five qualifying sessions and beaten in all five races this term. A similar picture has appeared at Williams, where Sainz trails Albon 3-2 in qualifying and 4-1 in races. In Miami, Hamilton will hope that a changed strip will result in a change of fortunes. The team have ditched their iconic red racing suits for just the second time this century ahead of weekend. The Italian constructor's image is inextricable from their statement colour, which has been worn religiously by the team since the latter stages of the 20th century. But the Prancing Horse are gearing up to debut a new look in the paddock in Florida on Friday, courtesy of their sponsors HP. Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur has stressed that Hamilton has the team's full backing despite a lacklustre beginning. 'I will give him support and we will start straight away to find solutions,' Vasseur said last month. 'I am not too worried. Have a look at what he did in China or what he did in Bahrain last week or even in the first part of the session this weekend. The potential is there for sure.' Asked why Ferrari's form had dipped so far, Vasseur exclaimed: 'Dramatically!? We have done five races so far. I know that you won't have the big headlines tomorrow that Fred said this... but this (analysis) is f****** bull****.
