Model, 19, plummets to her death after unfastening harness during 'panic attack'
A model died after she was hired to promote a parasailing company - she is believed to have fallen 50 metres to her death after undoing her safety harnesses during a panic attack The grim moment a teen model plunged to her death was caught in chilling footage. Images show Tijana Radonjic, 19, during filming for a promotional video for a parasailing firm falling after she appeared to unfasten her harness during a panic attack. Tijana, from Novi Sad in Serbia, was hired for the short film on May 28. She had no previous experience of parasailing. The unnamed firm in Budva, Montenegro, hoped the film would boost business with tourists ahead of a busy summer holiday season. Tijana was supposed to appear clad in a bikini and flying happily over the Budva Riviera, all while her parasail was towed by a speedboat. In the startling footage, the model appears to undergo a panic attack, depsite looking calm and happy as she was strapped into her harness and told how to use it, witnesses said. At 150 feet above the Adriatic sea, Tijana started to tear at her life jacket and safety harness, unfastening it. After undoing her waist belt, she started to try and wriggle free. Witnesses on the beach said they heard her screaming 'put me down, put me down' just moments before she fell around 50 metres. The fall is believed to have killed her, paramedics said after she was pulled from the sea. Mirko Krdzic, the owner of the parasailing company, said he was 'sorry' for the death of Tijana and hopes to meet her parents to 'express my condolences in person'. He said: "We are all in shock after the accident that happened… I do not know exactly what happened. "She did not show any fear of flying, she underwent training, after which the tragedy followed. Technical inspections of all the equipment are underway, and the results of the autopsy are awaited." Tijana's family is disputing claims she caused her own death, reports say. One relative said in a post on social media: "You were brave to try to save your young life, but unfortunately, you didn't succeed." The incident is being investigated by police and safety officials. Budva is known for its popularity with tourists and bustling nightlife within its Venetian-built stone walls. Montenegro's tourist board says it is a 'metropolis of Montenegrin tourism and one of the loudest and most packed towns at the Montenegrin coast during the summer'. It compares the town to having its 'own Hawaii', a reference to the island opposite the city that has plush beaches and restaurants.

UNC Basketball lands commitment from international prospect
UNC Basketball lands commitment from international prospect North Carolina adds another player to 2025-26 roster. Hubert Davis and the North Carolina Tar Heels have added another significant piece to their 2025-26 roster as we get set to enter the Summer months. After weeks of speculation and recruiting international prospects, the Tar Heels have finally landed a big target. On Saturday, international wing Luka Bogavac committed to North Carolina per Jonathan Givony of ESPN. The Montenegrin wing played for SC Derby and was a top-five scorer in the Adriatic League overseas. He averaged 14.9 points per game and shot 40 percent from the three-point line. The 6-foot-5, 201-pound wing can provide some much-needed shooting from the wing, a spot UNC struggled with last season. Davis and his staff were in search of another wing after Drake Powell stayed in the NBA Draft and have now found that. Bulls offseason trade proposal for Rudy Gobert after Timberwolves loss
The post Bulls offseason trade proposal for Rudy Gobert after Timberwolves loss appeared first on ClutchPoints. The Minnesota Timberwolves have been so close yet so far away two years in a row now. The team lost in the Western Conference Finals for the second straight season. After their loss last season, big changes were made in the offseason. The team traded Karl-Anthony Towns for Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo. Even more drastic moves could come this go around, perhaps even a Rudy Gobert trade. Advertisement Gobert is a four-time Defensive Player of the Year, but he is also pricey, regressing, and offensively challenged. Many fans wanted the team to trade him last season instead of Towns. A full-blown rebuild seems unlikely in Minnesota, and a trade of any kind involving Gobert probably won't happen. It certainly isn't out of the question, though, especially because the Timberwolves want to bring back Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Naz Reid, and Randle. The former of those players is an unrestricted free agent, and the latter two have player options on their contracts. So could a Gobert trade to the Chicago Bulls make sense? Bulls possible package to trade for Rudy Gobert Alonzo Adams-USA TODAY Sports Bulls receive: Rudy Gobert Advertisement Timberwolves receive: Nikola Vucevic, Lonzo Ball, two second-round picks The Bulls' big three of Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, and Nikola Vucevic never worked out like it was supposed to. In fact, the trio only made the playoffs together one time. The team finally decided to blow it up, and the Bulls traded DeRozan and LaVine to the Sacramento Kings in separate deals. Nikola Vucevic likely isn't far from being moved, either. Vucevic fits what the Bulls like to do. The team fires a lot of 3-pointers, and the Montenegrin is one of the best deep-ball shooters in the NBA. However, he will be 35 years old next season, and he only has one year left on his deal. Additionally, Vucevic's play has slipped in recent years, and the team could use a change of direction at the center position. Advertisement Gobert would certainly offer that for Chicago. While the big man is limited to put-backs and alley-oops on offense, he is still one of the best defense players in the league. The Stifle Tower was down to 1.4 blocks per game last year, but he still has some gas in the tank as an elite rim protector. The Bulls need defensive help. Their roster has plenty of offensive-minded players, such as Coby White, Kevin Huerter, Josh Giddey, and Matas Buzelis. Gobert could help make up for any defensive shortcomings the team may have. Even after this trade, the Bulls would still have tons of cap space to make another splashy move in free agency. As of now, Chicago is a ways away from competing, but they have the resources to make the moves that can get them back into the playoffs next year. Would the Timberwolves trade Rudy Gobert? It would come as a major surprise if the Timberwolves traded Gobert, especially considering that they traded their other center – Towns – last offseason. However, it isn't completely unrealistic. As noted above, Gobert is on the downhill turn of his career. While still a great defender, he isn't as dominant on that end as he once was. Advertisement Luckily for the Timberwolves, the team has plenty of other defensive stalwarts. Anthony Edwards, Jaden McDaniels, Jaylen Clark, and Alexander-Walker are all elite on that end, but the team needs to give Edwards a little bit of help on offense. Vucevic is more of an offensive-minded big. Additionally, the team might need to make space for Reid or risk losing the 25-year-old in free agency. Reid appears to be hesitant about returning to a Sixth Man role, and this trade would open up a spot in the starting lineup for him if the Timberwolves were able to re-sign him. On top of bringing back their own free agents, though, the Timberwolves desperately need point guard help. Mike Conley could retire at any given moment, and Rob Dillingham is the only other lead guard on the roster. He just finished up what was an okay but uninspiring rookie season, and he is more of a score-first guard than a playmaker. Minnesota needs somebody who can get the rest of the players on the roster the basketball. Advertisement Lonzo Ball is one of the best playmakers in the NBA. Health has been an issue for him throughout his career, but he finally returned to action last season. With Giddey, another jumbo guard, on the roster, the Bulls don't have much need for Ball anymore, but the Timberwolves could certainly use his services. Considering the Timberwolves have so many potential free agents who they might lose on the open market, too, adding more depth in a two-for-one trade could make sense.

Ishiba Using Expo as Opportunity to Meet World Leaders, Improve Diplomacy
The Yomiuri Shimbun Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba, right, shakes hands with Lao President Thongloun Sisoulith before their meeting on Thursday at the Prime Minister's Office. Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba is stepping up his 'Expo diplomacy' with world leaders visiting Japan for the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo. The United States' tariff policy has escalated conflict between Washington and Beijing, tasking Japan with further cooperation with the Global South. Ishiba is taking advantage of Japan being the host of the Expo – which is bringing more than 100 foreign dignitaries to the country – with an aim of enhancing the nation's presence and building personal trust. Ties with developing countries 'We want to place greater emphasis on relations with members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations to realize a free and open Indo-Pacific based on the rule of law,' Ishiba told Lao President Thongloun Sisoulith on Thursday. The United States has imposed 48% tariffs on Laos. In the talks, Ishiba highlighted Japan's contribution to Laos' economic growth. On the same day, Ishiba also met with the leaders of Tanzania and Kuwait at the Prime Minister's Office. During his meeting with Kuwait's Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Ishiba touched on an episode when he was Defense Agency director general, in which Kuwait provided the Self-Defense Forces with a base of operations in Iraq. Ishiba then said Japan would like to strengthen the bilateral relationship. As of Thursday, Ishiba had met with 17 foreign dignitaries since the Expo opened in April. Up until the closing day in October, the prime minister will meet world leaders who visit Japan for their National Day at the Expo. National Days are a showcase of each country's culture and are held almost daily. 'The Expo is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to deepen strategic ties with small and medium-sized countries that we have limited chances to visit diplomatically,' a senior Foreign Ministry official said. Gain experience The Expo is a valuable opportunity for the prime minister to gain diplomatic experience too, after being criticized for inexperienced conduct such as greeting others with a two-handed handshake when he first took office. According to those close to Ishiba, he checks out the Foreign Affairs magazine from the National Diet Library and has been studying late into the night to familiarize himself with the situations in various countries. Ishiba reportedly told those around him: 'The Expo is a good opportunity. We can convey Japan's importance to countries sandwiched between the United States and China.' He seems to grow more confident with each day of meetings. During a meeting Wednesday with Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajic, who studied in Japan, the two leaders spoke in Japanese without an interpreter, and Ishiba created a relaxed mood by calling the meeting 'historic.' Ishiba is expecting U.S. President Donald Trump's visit on July 19, which coincides with the Expo's U.S. National Day. However, there is no clear prospect of this happening. Ishiba's diplomatic skills will be put to the test in the current Japan-U.S. tariff negotiations in which leaders may be required to come up with a breakthrough at some point in June.

Montenegrin leader impresses Ishiba with Japanese fluency
In a rare and symbolic display of international diplomacy, Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajic held a summit with Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba in fluent Japanese at his office in Tokyo on May 28. Spajic impressed his Japanese counterpart and officials by conducting the meeting and subsequent luncheon entirely in Japanese. 'Our two countries share values such as the rule of law, democracy, multilateralism, peace and prosperity,' he said. 'We fully support Japan's vision of a free and open international order.' As a scholarship recipient of the Japanese government, he studied at Saitama University, according to the Foreign Ministry. Spajic's visit coincides with the Balkan country's National Day celebration at the Osaka Kansai Expo. 'This is a meeting that will go down in history,' Ishiba said, noting the rarity of a foreign head of state engaging in direct dialogue in Japanese. The two leaders agreed to enhance bilateral relations between their countries, including Japan's lifting of short-visit visa requirements from Montenegro starting this autumn. 'Your experience studying in Japan provides a truly encouraging foundation for further developing the relationship between our two nations,' Ishiba added. He also expressed his support for Montenegro's continued efforts to join the European Union.
