Intersection improvements to continue on Route 54 next week
VALLEY TOWNSHIP — A multi-year intersection improvement project along the Route 54 corridor in Valley and Mahoning Townships, Montour County will continue next week.
The week of May 12, drainage improvements will continue along Route 54 in both directions between Liberty Valley Road and Jerseytown Road.
Crews will be working 24-hour days Monday through Friday. Motorists can expects lane restrictions during this time, according to PennDOT.
The department anticipates the completion of this portion of the project by May 19, weather permitting.
