NYPD investigating dad of missing 2-year-old Bronx boy

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — Police are questioning the father of a missing 2-year-old Bronx boy who has not been seen in a month, according to the NYPD. The child, Montrell Williams, was last seen by his mom at 827 Hunts Point in the Bronx at around 10 p.m. on May 10, police said. The boy was wearing a white shirt and a diaper. The woman told police she gave Montrell to his dad on May 10, but she has not seen the boy since, sources said. The two share custody of the child. Submit tips to police by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), visiting downloading the NYPD Crime Stoppers mobile app, or texting 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577. A 2-year-old Bronx boy disappeared over the weekend – and cops are now questioning his biological father, authorities and law-enforcement sources said. Little Montrell Williams was wearing only a white shirt and diaper when he vanished around 10 p.m. Saturday from an apartment building on Hunts Point Avenue and Gilbert Place in Hunts Point, cops said. Montrell was last seen with his dad, who has split custody with the boy's mom, sources said. The tot lives about a mile from where he was last seen. MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man robbed a victim of $1,000 in cash at gunpoint after luring him to a Whitehaven apartment complex to view a car listed on Facebook Marketplace last year, Memphis Police say. Jeremy Robertson, 27, is charged with aggravated robbery and is now in jail on a $153,500 bond. Man robbed while buying car off Facebook Marketplace On April 19, 2024, police say a victim reported that he was robbed at gunpoint by two men at the Mill Creek Apartments on 4547 Watermill Drive. The victim claimed he met up with a man he knows as 'Montrell' regarding a car listed on Facebook Marketplace. Man gets 55 years for 2023 robbery that ended with murder 'Montrell' is accused of luring the victim to the apartments by telling him the person who had the car would meet them there. After 30 minutes, the victim says an unknown man approached him and put a black semi-automatic handgun to his chest. That is when police say the suspect told the victim to 'give it up' while Montrell allegedly reached into his pockets and took $1,400 in cash from the victim. The second suspect saw a gun in the victim's wristband and took it, police say. Both suspects then left the scene together on foot. MPD: Woman with pink taser tries to rob Uber driver On April 22, 2024, the victim gave police a statement and identified Jeremy Robertson as 'Montrell' in a six-person photo lineup. Robertson is scheduled to appear in court on Monday morning. On September 11, 2024, Robertson was charged with assault.
