After another 30 mm, it looks like the rain will start to taper off late Tuesday afternoon
We are looking at adding another 30 millimetres of rain Monday night through Tuesday in YYC. The rain will start to taper off late Tuesday afternoon.
We have certainly had a lot of rain this month.
Here are some numbers for perspective:
The average amount of rain for July in Calgary is 65.7 millimetres;
As of 5 p.m. on Monday (July 21), we have had 101.8 millimetres; and
We are looking at adding another 30 millimetres Monday night through Tuesday in YYC.
The rain will start to taper off late Tuesday afternoon.
Tuesday also comes with cooler temperatures (we will struggle to get into the double digits), and a cold wind gusting out of the north at 40 km/h.
