Fans in for a treat as The Motswako Republic Tour heads to Soweto
The Motswako Republic Tour is set to light up Soweto this spring, with an electrifying show scheduled for September 6 at Disoufeng Pub & Restaurant. Hip-hop fans can expect a night of nostalgic bars, heavy beats and a celebration of culture as some of Mzansi's most respected lyrical giants take the stage.
The line-up features Morafe, Tuks Senganga, Molemi, DJ Zan D and DJ C-Live, with special guests Skwatta Kamp promising a powerful fusion of Motswako and classic South African hip-hop energy.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Disoufeng's events manager Tebogo Phiri shared his excitement about hosting the tour on the first weekend of September, as it coincides with the start of Heritage Month.
'We're kicking off Heritage Month in style and welcoming summer the only way we know how with the best vibes and the best music,' said Phiri. 'People should expect the top-tier experience we're known for. We've built a reputation as one of the top establishments in the country, and this event will be no different.'
