Jilted Married At First Sight stars Sierah Swepstone, Adrian Araouzou and Morena Farina break their silence after being snubbed from the 2025 Logie Awards

Married At First Sight's 12th season has had no shortage of drama both on and off the screen, but tensions reached a peak after certain castmates were snubbed from the 2025 Logie Awards. Now, the jilted reality stars are breaking their silence regarding the ceremony's cold shoulder. Sierah Swepstone, Adrian Araouzou and Morena Farina spoke to Chattr about being snubbed from TV's night of nights and lifted the lid on all the drama behind the scenes. 'I have removed myself from anything MAFS-related or TV-related,' Adrian said, adding that had distanced himself from the show's social events, Instagram and castmates. However, the former TV groom did reveal that he'd be open to attending the event if an invite found its way into his letter box. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Morena sung a similar tune, saying that she hadn't been invited to the Logies, but was not surprised considering she had been excluded from most events related to the show. She also let slip of tensions amongst the MAFS participants, adding that she'd rather avoid people who 'unfairly' shut her out. 'Attending the Logies would be an honour and a privilege, though I'll be honest, I'd prefer not to be seated at the table with the MAFS cast season 12,' she said. Controversial bride Sierah, who was embroiled in a cheating scandal with fellow ousted groom Adrian, claimed that her snub was a form of 'victim silencing'. 'Channel 9 completely barred me from any media opportunities and anything associated with it because of what they allowed to happen to me while I was there,' she sensationally alleged. On Monday, the MAFS cast descended into a frenzy ahead of the 2025 Logie Awards, after learning that only a small handful of them would be invited to the glittering ceremony. Set to take place on August 4 in Sydney, the event will once again be hosted by Channel Seven, leaving some Channel Nine stars sweating over their invite status. Daily Mail Australia revealed that only a few of this year's breakout stars made the cut, despite MAFS 2025 scoring strong ratings and widespread attention. Those tipped to attend include Jamie Marinos, Awhina Rutene, Rhi Disljenkovic, Jeff Gobbels, Tony Mojanovski, Ryan Donnelly, Carina Mirabile, Eliot Donovan, Beth Kelly and Teejay Halkias. All ten stars have remained in good standing with Nine and have been spotted at recent promotional events, making them the obvious choices to represent the show and network. Should Channel Nine be feeling generous Katie Johnston and Ashleigh Ackerman will also be considered. Meanwhile, relationship experts John Aiken and Alessandra Rampolla will once again attend the awards to officially represent the series, while Mel Schilling has been invited but is yet to confirm her appearance. Insiders say the decision to limit the guest list has caused serious tension within the cast. 'Everyone's panicking and desperate to go,' one source told Daily Mail Australia. 'Some of them acted like saints during filming thinking it would secure them a Logies invite – now they're hearing they didn't make the cut and they're furious.' Despite still being together, Jacqui Burfoot and Clint Rice also won't be receiving an invite following their controversial stint on the show. Perth groom Paul Antoine, Tim Gromie and Veronica Cloherty also didn't make the list. 'There's already drama bubbling behind the scenes,' the insider continued.

Jilted MAFS bride Morena Farina hits back at online trolls as she hard launches surprising new 'connection'

Married At First Sight's Morena Farina has partnered up with season 10 bride Melissa Sheppard to issue a warning to online haters. On Monday the Melbourne DJ, who skipped out of Australia's 'social experiment' and bid 'good riddance' to her TV husband Tony Mojanovski in a dramatic storm out, told her bullies to 'keep watching.' Both Morena, 57, and Melissa, 43, were cast in the role of vivacious middle-aged woman 'looking for real love' on MAFS - and both have claimed they were given a 'bad edit'. 'To the online bullies watching me, keep watching,' Morena wrote in a lengthy caption on Monday, alongside a professional headshot for her DJ portfolio. 'I'm still here, still doing what I've always done, Still rising, still creating, still DJing.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. The bride then thanked her haters and tagged anti-bullying non-for-profit @bullyzero. 'You tried to tear me down, but all you did was remind me how strong I am,' Morena said. 'Your hate isn't power. It's noise. And I've learned how to turn noise into rhythm. To every keyboard warrior out there, thank you. 'Watch me grow. Watch me succeed. Watch me bring good into this world more than what you're doing. Because while you're busy tearing others down, I'm building. 'Forgiveness will find you one day, and I hope it brings you peace.' Morena, who has 27,000 Instagram followers, said 'every comment, every insult, every attempt to tear me down has only helped my algorithm explode.' In the comments, she also said she has 'no regrets' about doing MAFS because it led her to a 'real' connection with Sydney-based hairdresser, Melissa. 'Melissa, everything I've been through the pain, the constant torment, the bullying it's all been worth it, because it led me to you,' Morena wrote. View this post on Instagram A post shared by DJ Morena, Melbourne Wedding & Events🎧 (@djmorenaofficial) 'If it wasn't for MAFS, our paths would never have crossed, and for that alone, I have no regrets, darling. 'Sure, I didn't get a good edit but who even cares? Look at our lives now. We're thriving, we're strong, and we know our truth. I know exactly what I prefer and that's the real, beautiful connection we have. 'They can throw what they want at us, but one thing's for sure: we can't be defeated.' Melissa, who was matched with soft-spoken groom Josh White and dubbed 'the horny bride' during her season of MAFS, called Morena, 'my beautiful friend.' 'It's an honour to be your friend and I cherish the bond we share together,' she wrote. 'So proud of you and your resilience and strength. You & I, together foreva.' Daily Mail Australia exclusively revealed that Morena and Tony's whirlwind romance crashed before it even began, after she discovered her new husband was still 'married' to his ex on their honeymoon. According to insiders, Tony had separated from his long-time partner three years ago but never officially ended his marriage. Morena was understandably devastated, but viewers' sympathy for her character began to wane as the season continued.

MAFS star Tony Mojanovski reveals the symptoms he ignored before being rushed to hospital with heart attack

Married At First Sight Australia's Tony Mojanovski has opened up about his recent heart attack, the crucial signs he missed and the split decision that saved his life. The former TV groom, 53, who was paired with Morena Farina in the experiment, was admitted to hospital three weeks ago, suffering a heart attack after working out at the gym. Speaking to Nine, the business owner revealed that he wasn't feeling a hundred percent on the day, saying that he experienced a 'scratchy' chest pain that he had been dealing with for a few years. But a gut instinct told him to take it seriously. Tony's decision to 'listen' to his body and leave the gym to see a doctor 'saved his life', for what he was experiencing was a heart attack. 'The little symptoms I was feeling in the two years caught up to me,' he revealed. The doctor, recognising Tony's symptoms, proceeded to send him straight to Wollongong Hospital, where he collapsed shortly after arriving. 'I was pretty much on death's door because I had a 100 per cent blockage, and then I had a blood clot in there as well,' he told Nine. Tony underwent emergency surgery later that day, with doctors performing a coronary artery bypass graft to treat the blockage and save his life. Now, following the frightening experience, Tony urges all men to listen to their body when something is up and to not ignore the signs. 'I tell all my friends and a lot of men my age – "don't hide"' he said, adding that if you're feeling unsure about your symptoms, just go to the doctor and get checked out. In April, the former MAFS contestant spoke to Daily Mail Australia from his hospital bed, assuring fans that he was now in a stable condition and feeling much better after the terrifying ordeal. 'Luckily I went straight to the doctors,' he explained. 'During the week I wasn't feeling well. It has been happening for a long time - I was just feeling not right, like something was on my chest every now and then, giving me heartburn and stuff like that.' Tony said the persistent symptoms eventually became too much to ignore. 'I tell all my friends and a lot of men my age – "don't hide." If you feel something, go to the doctors and check yourself out,' he said 'I felt a bit off too. That's why I thought, you know what, I'm going to take it easy this week because it was just too much,' he said. Reflecting on the health scare, Tony admitted it was 'pretty scary' and revealed there could be a family link to heart issues. 'My mum passed away from an aneurysm,' he said, adding that smoking, stress and partying may have contributed to his health decline. 'I was smoking, the cigarettes, the stress, being on the boat, partying - just too many things. It caught up with me, mate,' he admitted. Tony said he now plans to slow down and prioritise his health moving forward. 'I just need some time without the partying,' he added.

Channel Nine 'overthrown' by MAFS cast as they defy all rules: 'Mutiny'

This year's cast of Married At First Sight appears to be bringing the drama both on and off-screen. While cast members often go rogue towards the end of the season, Yahoo Lifestyle can reveal that an unprecedented number of participants have teamed up to openly defy all rules and restrictions in their contracts. An inside source tells us that the show's production company EndemolShine Australia and Channel Nine are 'desperately' attempting to silence the cast after they united to rebel against them. Not only have the brides and grooms been spoiling their storylines on the show, but they've also launched second Instagram accounts to call out their 'edit'. Jacqui Burfoot has also shared lengthy posts speaking out against production and defending her character, and Adrian Araouzou is openly mocking his storylines through his twin brother's TikTok account. Meanwhile, Eliot Donnelly and Jake Luik have found themselves in hot water for doing unauthorised interviews, and Tim Gromie is simply refusing to respond to the network in any capacity. The controversial groom has reportedly ignored all phone calls and even went as far as failing to show up to the casts' press days and scheduled promotional photoshoots. According to our insider, the 2025 cast members began rebelling halfway through filming after realising 'they're the ones with the power' because there's no show without them. 'EndemolShine introduced an 8pm curfew in early September and many of them started chatting amongst themselves and realised they dictate the rules – not producers,' the source shares. 'They were already individually starting to tire of all the rules and being treated like children, then one weekend there was an incident that led to them pretty much starting a mutiny. 'Since then, things have just gone to the next level and now they've realised they hold all the cards and if they want to speak out, they will. There's a real sense amongst so many of them that they owe the network nothing and won't allow their reputations to be determined by what they believe are inaccurate representations.' Yahoo Lifestyle also understands that publicists at Nine and bosses at EndemolShine are 'desperately attempting' to bring back some order, but it's almost like they've 'been overpowered' for the first time in the show's history. In previous seasons, Nine would restrict a participant's media opportunities and press interviews to 'get them back in line,' but that tactic is no longer effective. 'It appears the cast members have realised that once the season ends, they're essentially disposable to the network and there are no golden tickets or future TV work and opportunities awaiting them like it's often hinted at,' the source adds. Adrian Araouzou has seemingly confirmed he's no longer with his bride Awhina Rutene after he was spotted 'holding hands' with a mystery woman in Sydney's CBD last month. It's also been revealed that he was involved in a 'cheating scandal' with Sierah Swepstone during filming which ended her relationship with her partner Billy Belcher. Meanwhile, Morena Farina recently confirmed things don't work out with Tony Mojanovski following a bombshell confession that was edited out of the first commitment ceremony.
